I am not from G.A. but I had to try this. My kids and I loved it. The tenders were a little too crunchy for my 6 year old. Other than that, we all want to stop by American deli prior to going back to FL. The Philly is a must try
Today's experience was better than the last 4 years that I have been coming. The lady's attitude has changed (yes that same lady everyone was talking about in their comments). When I said thank you this time she actually said your welcome and acknowledged my presence. The restrooms have reopened and the tables in the restaurant are back for dine in service. The glass has come down and there is a new feel to the place. I typically avoid coming unless my family requests American Deli but this time I think I am open to coming back on my own. Glad things have changed. People want to feel respected in the place where they spend their money. I think that in the least is a small request. Glad she has changed her attitude.
Food is fire! Wings extra crispy and NOT to big! Chicken Philly is a must try!
I'm going to keep this real simple:
Awful customer service. Go to a different American Deli. This is not my usual location, but I decided to give this one a try. I paid more at this location than usual. I left it alone because it was late and I didn't feel like going back and forth. They dump your hot food into styrofoam containers and let it melt the container, which cannot be healthy for you. What happened to using the paper to separate the food and prevent that from happening? I'm sure they are trying to save money at the expense of our health. Going to this location reminded me of going into a beauty supply store to spend your hard earned money only to receive a nasty attitude in return. Never stopping at this location again. The lady, which seems to be the manager or owner had hate written all on her face.
First and last time ever going to this location. I usually go to the one in Atlanta on Gresham Rd, but I was in this area today. I should've just gone to Wendy's or something. I actually didn't do a drive thru because I also needed to use the restroom. However, they still have everything restricted like it's 2020 when COVID first hit. No tables, no chairs, no bathroom access. It feels like really, they just want your money and then want you to immediately get out, not that they're being pandemic safe. I had to use the bathroom at the QuikTrip across the street.. which was disgusting.
The customer service here is awful. Not personable, dry, and sterile. The lady in front of me called her order in ahead, but it wasn't ready when they arrived. Our food ended up being ready together. They still have plexiglass partition at the counter so you have to talk thru the little speaker, but somehow you still have to repeat yourself over and over for just a single combo order. I asked for a 6 count lemon pepper, wet. It cost $9.53. At my usual location, it's about $7.50. It was an Asian male that took my order.
Usually they open the container for you to look at the food and approve, but not this location. He passed my bag to me and walked off. I opened it to find the tiniest, most dry wings in North America. Most of them had no sauce or seasoning at all for almost $10.. they got me really messed up on this fine Saturday afternoon. Not ever again. ✌️
I love American Deli, and this location definitely
met my expectations on what the average American Deli would/should offer at any given location. I’ve been ordering my wings “crispy, with light mild sauce and lemon pepper sprinkles”
for years now and American Deli always honors the order throughout
Customer service a bit stiff and that’s the only reason I give them 3 stars and not 4 ????
I went in August 2024 and yesterday the service was good I had a Philly cheese steak both times I visited. It was delicious and the portions were more than enough! I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture before I devoured the food lol!
I got a philly cheesesteak & lemon pepper wing combo. My wife asked the manager on the phone twice to put the wings in a separate container but she refused. My bun was SOAKED with lemon pepper juice. When I called afterwards, the worker said he would have separated them but there’s nothing he can do because of the manager.
