American Deli has done it again !! Every time the food is amazing. This is my #1 spot in the neighborhood to get my wings. I HIGHLY recommend bone in HOT wings, with the ham and turkey sub ! The wings are tasty, crispy, and the hot is my favorite. The sub is so close to a home style made sub that I feel like family when I eat it. I also really love their Philly cheesesteak. It took me a long time to find a spot in Savannah that served a Philly that’s closest to the real deal Philly. But they have it in my opinion.

P.S. To all the reviews about the wings being small. Yes, the wings are small, but honestly that’s one of the reasons I love them. They are crispy and easy to take a whole wing in my mouth !! No shame in my game. You can pay $15 for 10 small DELICIOUS flavored wings or go to Buffalo Wild Wings and pay a ton for just 5 wings.
You like what you like. Everyone will have their own opinion. But I recommend trying them out.
Came here today for lunch.. This is my first time ever eating at an American Deli.. And sadly will be my last at this location. The food was horrible. The fries were hard and over cooked. The wings tasted like lemon cleaner.. I ordered lemon pepper wings and The Philly cheesesteaks was a greasy mess.
I came in 20 mins to close and the grill was shut down …I was upset I chose to get wings because I Couldn’t get chicken Philly and the wings were disgusting. Wings did not taste right will not be back unless it’s for a chicken Philly. I don’t understand how it was 20 minutes to close and the grill was shut down customer service.
This location is situated in a plaza with plenty of parking available. The menu offers a variety of options, including chicken wings, fried rice, burgers, Philly steak, and more. They also serve a selection of beverages.
I ordered the chicken finger plate with a side of honey mustard, which included fries and a drink. I chose the peach lemonade.
The customer service was excellent, but unfortunately, the food didn’t meet the same standard. The chicken tenders were very thin, almost as if they had been sliced multiple times and were too tough to eat. On the bright side, the fries were delicious, and I really enjoyed the lemonade.
We all love wings, & many the great taste of a good cheese steak sandwich, lamb, or chicken are the other options. Many different flavors of wings. Food is prepared freshly, made to order, with generous portions.
This is primarily a order ahead, or there, and take out. Seating is available, but due to covid, dining in is almost non-existant.
For the amount of meals prepared & served, the staff does an amazing job. Good food, and friendly service. Perfect...
This is what happens when you try a place you never eat from.. Found this in my food????????. Chicken tenders tasted old. Will never go back.
I haven't been to an American Deli in at least 4 years and I was craving wings so I decided to go to the one on Victory Dr. It was clean in there and the associate who was raking my order was nice. I didn't like that he had his mask just pulled to his chin but I digress. I asked him how big the wings were and he estimated with his fingers indicating they were a decent size. I placed my order for a 6 piece, all flats hot lemon pepper wing combo with fries and a drink. Once it was ready the first thing I noticed was how small my wings were! They were about the same length as my pinkie, dry looking and quite pitiful. When I asked the associate about the size he made an excuse and said they come like that sometimes. I asked to speak to management to see if I could get a few more wings and he begrudgingly said he would give me '2' more! I understand we're in the middle of a pandemic and production is down but what about 'quality'? And why are we overloading the plate with sub-par fries to try to hide the fact that the wings are pitiful. I have never been this disappointed after eating my wings as I am today. American Deli please do better. This was not worth the money.
Ordered Philly& wings combo-Philly was hot (cooked on grill) but my wings and fries were cold. Funny how they make you view your food before leaving BUT they don’t check the temperature before serving. I guess you have to request fresh food???
