Customer service sucks! No help even when you ask. Younger guy with shoulder length hair was so rude! And he literally said asking for help is crazy… I said can you help me? He stated No I’m busy!!! Do not support! Instead Go to Jessica’s beauty supply in McKinney! They value their customers and have amazing attitudes!!!
I periodically visit this store, where I find some items reasonably priced, while others are overpriced with minimal product in the bag, prompting me to explore alternative options like Lewisville Valley Beauty or Nina in Arlington, which consistently offer better value for money.
MISOGYNISTIC, RUDE, OVERPRICED, and RACIST! There is a middle aged asian man that works there who treats black women like they are beneath him when really we are the ones funding their prosperity. I was at the register when this man snatched my basket and dumped everything on the counter when I was tying to explain that I had 2 orders. Someone else was with me buying as well. He over talked me, he even verbally insulted me. I was shocked. After that, I told him to refund the person I was with. I did not purchase as I had already decided we will not spend our money there. No one apologized. Needless to say, we won't be shopping at American Beauty ever again. We went to a Better store that greets you when you walk in, has better prices, has great customer service, and most importantly, is RESPECTFUL. QUEENS BEAUTY in Carrollton has a holiday sale going on right now as I type this. Happy Holidays!!
This store is close to we're I live and was curious to see what was they carried. It's a big, lots of accessories, purses, wigs, hair products, all very overpriced.
I did feel uncomfortable shopping there, being watched the entire time. I guess if I'm not white, I'm a thief.
And they charge whatever they feel like when there products aren't priced. I wouldn't recommend shopping here, never ever coming back
These are very rude people. Walked in with no bag or purse yet still was treated like I was gonna steal. Very over priced compared to other places.
Ladies you are better off spending your money elsewhere where they are nicer and things are more cost effective. There are better beauty supply stores in the metroplex. Do not come to this one.
Pricing is higher than other stores, and the selection is limited. They are close by and will fulfill quick need of hair dye or a quick bag of braiding hair. It's starting to look like a one stop shop. Everything you may think you need will be found here.

Always has what I’m looking for one stop shop and the young lady that assisted me was so pleasant. The roll on oil smell goods are so good and long lasting!
