I enjoyed my experience as a student. I have mucho respect and admiration for Mr. David, Mr. B Brown as well Mr. H Brown. I was able to complete my final and now a Licensed Master Barber.
I recommend you go for it - if you're interested in becoming a barber.

I am a regular at this spot because I love how most students are giving it their all to provide the best they can. With some of the best teachers there, you notice the ones that value the lessons they are taught. All these students also got stories to share. So speak with them!
I walked in with hair I grew out to my shoulders for over a year and a half and showed them pictures of how I wanted it trimmed/layered and they cut it all off with a filthy comb. Everything was so unsanitary and the instructor who was telling the students what to do was completely unapologetic.
And the back, omg. Looks like a bird tail/mullet.

6. I’ve been getting my hair cut here for 6 months - I’m very happy with everything. Thank you to the Supervisor/Manager for the warm welcome and excellent haircut.

I been Geting my haircut on and off here for years especially when I come back home(nyc) to visit.
Giving the fact I have a bald head and makes no sense to go to a regular barber at this point.
Well mannered staff and students mater barber David is the best.
It's a school so the students are practicing on you. It's not like your girl is doing your hair, they obviously have training and I must say they spend good $$$$$ on their equipment so they are dedicated. They do a good job.
I got my sides faded by Cole. Overall, I had a great experience. He stopped periodically to ask and inform me about the progress of the haircut. He made a mistake and was vulnerable enough to admit at and by the time we were done.....we were both pleased. I enjoyed chatting with his barber neighbor Linnea too. We had great conversation that was meaningful and insightful. I wish him much success with his future.
The teachers were on the floor and walked around periodically and the other barbers asked each other clarifying questions which I thought to be super dope. Each one, teach one.
It's important that we give chances because we all have to start somewhere. I am grateful for a great experience.
