Best WLM Reviews
What a great place to spend some time. Our flight was delayed leaving so visited the club while we waited. It was an excellent experience. They had a variety of food and drink available. Hope the photos capture how nice the atmosphere is. We recommend it.
Good Admiral club with nice food. The Terminal E club is better, but that's only because it's newer. If your gate is in Terminal C and you have access, be sure to stop by. ????
I visited the club in the D terminal mid-day. There are large open spaces to work or relax. The coffee bar was well stocked along with two soup options, chicken noodle and vegan vegetable. I had the later. The prepared for station included two hot foods along with fresh looking salads, meats, cheeses and cold vegetables. I opted for the buffalo mozzarella, herbed curds, Brie and salami, all of which were fresh and tasty. The dessert station offered lovely looking macaroons, brownies and, I think, sugared cake or donut holes. While many lounges have the Coke Freestyle machines, DCA’s lounge does not so sodas are limited to the basic coke products filled at the bar.
While the lounge was generally clean and the staff diligently picked up used dishes, I was surprised to see the ladies restroom in need of some tlc. Sections of wallpaper were nearly falling off of the walls.
This is the prettiest Admirals Club that I have visited! The interior is modern, clean, and inviting. A full wall of windows allows for a lovely view of the airport concourse below, with windows overlooking the flight deck on the opposite wall. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the furniture was comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean. I can't say much about the food since we ate a heavy brunch before arriving at the airport. I did enjoy the latte from the coffee machine and my granddaughter enjoyed an orange juice, but that's about all we experienced food-wise. Others who were partaking in the food service appeared to be enjoying their selections. We spent about three hours in the lounge waiting for our flight, and the comfortable environment made the passage of time as enjoyable as it could have been.
I was hoping to visit the admirals lounge and was waiting to enter. There was a Soldier there not in uniform. He gave his ID and was immediately and VERY RUDELY told you can’t come in here. He asked why and they said you have to be in uniform. He informed the staff that certain members of the military are not authorized to travel in uniform for some reason. The staff said they didn’t care and honestly ganged up on him saying you must leave or they would call the police when he didn’t do anything. I was shocked and didn't feel comfortable and decided to just leave as well. I’ve never seen someone who served our country treated so poorly. Honestly I was so ashamed I apologized to him in the hallway.
This is honestly the kind of thing I’ve seen people go viral on social media over. I hope you can please correct your staff so they treat service members with respect I mean they signed up and serve to keep us all safe. They shouldn’t be treated like that.
Decent. After experiencing an incredibly crowded club during my last trip, I’ve been happy to see more respectable numbers in the spaces. The snacks are pretty limited though. Not to the level of other clubs like the Centurion.
American Admiral Club in Reagan National Airport I’m an Alaska Lounge member and was able to visit this lounge as we waited for our flight. The lounge was large and clean. The food was great— had a homemade guacamole station. The bar was great - homemade Bloody Marys. The restroom was clean. The service was great. I will visit this lounge in the future.
Very nice and clean club. Salad bar with some chicken, guacamole bar today; I had some soup.
Overall a great escape from the busy portion of the airport.
