Best WLM Reviews

If I can give this place zero stars I would. The front desk receptionist KIM was extremely rude, and had horrendous bad breath. Probably not the best place for her to be working since she has zero compassion towards patients that come in. She is not helpful and was on her personal phone the entire time. Maybe consider contracting someone with real customer service. Or refer her to a dentist to take care of her cavities. ????
My experience here was very good overall this is my third time here and although it was a different doctor the first two times the doctor I saw I absolutely loved and I had no complaints whatsoever with those visits!
This Time was very good overall as well ! The ladies upfront were so kind and helpful and the nurses were very kind as well !
I especially was so impressed and grateful for Jacob and Heather!
They really helped put me at ease and even Jacob made me laugh at one of my worst not feeling so well moments !
He’s great , they both are!
The doctor was very kind and they got to me pretty quickly for being an ER urgent care!
My only 2 complaints would be that I was in a lot of pain and One of the girls came in and asked if I wanted to be involved in a free sleep study !
I was not feeling well or in a good place and I didn’t feel like that was appropriate to ask me at that time !
Also that the doctor said I didn’t need stronger pain meds after breaking my arm and bruising my ribs and knee caps !
I was really hurting and asked for them so my orthopedic had to prescribe them for me yesterday as I’ve been pretty miserable !
overall I have always had a great experience here and would highly recommend it so even with my complaints I am still getting a five star because the overall staff has always been amazing!
The overall care here and my experience exceeds the two things that I wasn’t happy with so I definitely would come back and I want to give a big shout out and thank you to Heather and Jacob !
The staff were so friendly and truly made me feel
Comfortable when I needed it most. The doctor was extremely efficient, quick, knowledgeable, and returned to the room multiple times to answer all of my questions personally. This was the best experience I have ever had in an ER to date.
I love this place. We had to take my mother-in-law two times. Each time was awesome. They have everything they need to check everyone out thoroughly. This place is better than the hospital, without the wait.
Went to America’s ER on Friday and wife was tested for Covid and she tested positive. She was given prescription for Lagevrio as treatment .
On Saturday I went myself to America’s ER due to nonstop sinus drainage and to be tested for Covid and was tested and told that I tested negative. I told the Dr. that I felt like this was like a real bad sinus infection but worse like possibly Covid like he diagnosed my wife with the night before. So he prescribed Augmentin for me for a sinus infection. But told me to come back if I felt it was getting worse and they could retest to see if the Covid test of negative was a false negative so I said okay.
On Monday I arrived back at America’s ER to be retested for Covid in the early afternoon. I waited 2 hours (maybe 2.5 hrs) and finally asked the girl at the reception desk to go get me the Covid test swab so I could swab my own nose for them as the women behind the glass wall were sitting and standing back there seemingly doing nothing of urgency for any of the people out in the waiting room. The girl came back and told me no they couldn’t let me do it myself. Five minutes later they brought me back and thee nurse taking my info had an attitude that I was a bother to her and when I told her Dr. Butler told me to come back and be retested for Covid and that he gave me Augmentin of which I had taken two of the pills 12 hrs. apart per prescription, she told me that they could not give me anything for Covid since I had already taken the Augmentin. She left room then came the PA who in five seconds Che led my ears my throat and mouth and then excused herself.
Then the desk receptionist came into room with a form for me to sign for treatment in order to get the Covid test. She also pointed out to me that they marked this as an Emergency Room visit not like my prior day’s as Urgent Care visit or my wife’s Urgent Care Covid visit on Friday. I asked why is it an ER visit instead of Urgent Care visit and she stated that the Dr.’s on call today are not affiliated with BCBS ins. So I will need to pay out of pocket starting at $700 but they could try to run it through the ins. Co. And I’ll only need to pay part out of pocket. I told her that the my previous visit yesterday was no charge because my deductible has been met. But she said it’s different because it was an Urgent Care visit. I told her there is no difference and that her Dr. the day before told me to come back to be retested if I was feeling worse in order for them to check to see if their test gave a false positive. Then I told her that if this were a real ER visit then myself and the few other people out in the lobby would all be dead due to waiting for over two hours to even be seen by anyone. I refused to sign the paperwork allowing them to shakedown myself and my insurance co. BCBSTX for their own wellbeing a the expense of my health!
I left.
My Dr. daughter in La. Ordered me a test kit through Amazon which arrived at 9 pm that same night I tested and it was very positive for Covid. I called my Primary Dr. who prescribed Paxlovid and three days into this illness I am beginning to feel a bit better.
No thanks to America’s ER and I certainly cannot recommend America’s ER (nurse wearing red pants with light top and close cropped silver hair) and the female PA on the day crew that worked on Monday 12/09/2024
The sad part is my family has used America’s ER since it was opened here at Research Forest and FM2978 and have always had pleasant and kind and professional people and service from Dr.’s and Nurses and Techs always up until these two individuals on Monday 12/09/2024.
You asked for my opinion on this survey so this is it.
Other than these two individuals who seem to be more about milking the patient and insurance co. more than doing their jobs and listening to and treating the patient , everyone else Dr.’s included and other nurses are all great people!
Excellent care! My male nurse was excellent too! Getting an IV has always been painful and I didn't even feel his! Cudos! I do feel better today! And I got to be seen in the kids room which is awesome for kids!! Which I am at heart!
I have only been to the Magnolia location, and I can say for sure this location rocks. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Building was very clean. I was seen there last night by Dr. Rick Lorentz, after reading his Bio, everything there was true, he has great bedside manner, and he listened to my concerns and set it to figure out what was causing
me pain. I know mostly all doctors are perceived to know there stuff, but this Dr. was on it, after his assessment and the meds prescribed I was able to get some relief today. I was not rushed and from the check in process to the exiting process, everything was A-1, I don’t remember all the names but everyone, from the nurse that drew my bloodwork because I am hard stick, he was gentle and got it on the 1st stick, the Radiology dept. great service here as well. I was overall very pleased. I just want to say thank you to Dr. Lorentz and the staff there. Keep up the good work.
My daughter was having ongoing chest pains. They got her in super fast to take care of her and they ran every test you can imagine. They got to the bottom of it, treated her and resolved the issue. The staff was VERY professional, friendly and efficient. We will definitely go back IF we ever need to. (They are both ER and Urgent Care which is great)
