Best WLM Reviews

If all you're looking for is a bed for the night, this place is fine. Decently clean with some visible stains, the place overall is very outdated and in need of maintenance and general upkeep.
The people were nice but don't go above and beyond.
The one highlight is the location. A short drive or walking distance to downtown Urbana and Carle Hospital, so it's very convenient for either.
Do not stay here!! This place has bed bugs when my boyfriend called the front desk they accused US bringing in the bed bugs which neither of us has bed bugs this was at 1 a.m. we had no where else to book or go so we had to sleep on the floor. I wouldn't recommend getting a room for here. (Edit) They lied to us they said they will give us a refund in the morning they never did. Completely rude and unprofessional we will no longer be staying there and I hope others will avoid this place like the plague. This place should be burned down.
I don't recommend staying here. Upon my stay I discovered beg bugs and after presenting the bed bug I was accused of being the one to bring them there. Even after recording a video of bed bug activity it was still denied and he did not watch the video. The employee even went on to threaten I would have a "problem" if I continued. If I could give this place zero stars I would because that what I feel it deserves.
This hotel is an affordable option for Mom's weekend. They don't require a 2-night stay like other hotels do for parents' weekends. You can't get away from the smell of smoke. The unit is outdated but clean. No frills at all.
For the price, this was not a bad place to stay a night. The rooms were older, but the beds were comfy and didn't have any little critters to go with them. The place felt decently secured. The one but caveat is the outside card reader to get into the building is probably about to lose all function as badging in would require multiple tries.
We booked a room for 8 nights, our son's graduate program started before he could move into his apartment. They charged us $800. We stayed only one night because the room smell was terrible -- human or cat urine or both. We woke up many times gagging. The manager gave us tropical air freshener which just gave a sweet smell to the urine. They need to redo everything in order to get the deep funk out - I've stayed in lots of hotels, hostels and motels and this one is the only one I've ever complained about.
Exactly what you'd expect at this price point--rooms a little shabby and out of date but clean enough with good wifi. Pretty good location; I recommend Analog Wine Library, Silver creek, and Cafeteria Company. Young guy who checked me in was really nice and helpful even though I had botched my reservation. On the negative side--the hallway smells like an ashtray, the water doesn't get really hot, and the curtains don't block the morning light. On my last night, my toilet wasn't flushing and older man who answered the phone was really rude and made it clear that my situation was really inconvenient for him. He said I could come get a plunger from the office but no one would come to my room. It's 11 pm in February, and I had get dressed and go outside to reach the office in the cold. When I finally got the plunger (from a closet that was about 100 feet from my room), he told me I needed to "be nicer." Won't be staying here again.
I guess you get what you pay for. The rooms were clean but fixtures were old so the shower was very difficult to operate and there was no hot water. Very small pillows on a large king size bed is not good for the neck. Staff was very nice. Fridge was not working and was not plugged in or cleaned. The price was so low that you easily tell cost cutting is a major deal here. Bring your own toiletries. I would recommend this place only if you need a quick stop for sleep.
