Beware and stay away from this hotel. Reserved a room October 11 around 12:30. We were told we couldn't check in until after 3:00 which was fine. Checked in around 6:30 to what was supposed to be a non smoking room Got to the room and it smelled like cigarettes and there was even an ashtray for smoking. The room also smells horrible of mold/mildew. The beds covers are either dirty or very stained. Pillows look like they are 10 years old. The water in the shower does not work. Carpets and floors were not cleaned as there were dirt and food all over. The toilet was dirty and had other people's hairs all over it. The rooms are filthy. We were desperate due to hurricane Milton and having no power or water at home. While in the room I had two full on asthma attacks and couldn't breath so we decided to check out. Employee at front desk was very rude and they lie about your check in time so they don't have to give you a refund. We were in the room less than two hours. Was told to call the front desk on Monday for maybe a refund. Called and what do you know there is no one to talk to about a refund. Sent an email and it was ignored. This hotel is keeping my money for all three nights even though we were in the room for less than two hours and they had no other room to move us to. Will be filing with my bank, BBB, and health department. There aren't even any smoke detectors in the room.
Cheap and the rooms are well re-furnished and are always clean. Very understanding front desk when you need something or if you need a room. Beds are always clean same with linen. They come to your door day to day for housekeeping even on time. Would reccomend to anyone .
Hot shower, clean bed, no noise from other guests, cold AC. $68 close to downtown
It’s obviously an older place in the rougher side of town right next to the road so that shouldn’t be a surprise. It’s not nearly as bad other reviews make it out to be.
Zero stars should be an option. 8+ roaches. Dirty sheets (literal dirt on the sheets so they hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long). 2 towels for 4 people. There were holes in the bathroom ceiling covered by duct tape and all the fixtures in the bathroom had duct tape on them. I paid for two double beds but one of the beds was a cot... did I mention the roaches? The phone in the room didn’t work so had to walk to the front desk for bug spray... they were out, shocker. You have to pay for ice, there are vending machines but they didn’t take dollars or quarters. Manager was extremely rude and disrespectful and did nothing about it. No refund, no partial refund, just bugs and more bugs... minus the holes in the ceiling the shower worked. So basically paid for a shower... will never book again. Would rather not shower and sleep in my car, will do that next time if need be.
Due to the hurricane had to move out of the house. The room was disgusting and not even cleaned. The smell of the room I rather not say. The price they ask a week is ridiculous and they raised the price to 400 a week plus tax. Whatever you have to do try not to say there.
Clean & decorated nice. Comfortable bed that was in the 1st room we were in upstairs... photos tell the story! The 2nd room we stayed in downstairs was Terrible!!! I changed my review based on that! Also someone took my tail light cover off my vehicle in the parking lot!!
This place is the most horrendous place I've ever been too!!! Let me start of with the positives: great prices (that's it!!!). Now the negatives. It will take you 20 minutes to check in WITH a reservation already booked. Second, I was charged twice for the room despite having said reservation. Third, I paid for a non-smoking room and was given a smoking room instead. Also, there was no sense of cleanliness to the bathroom, bed, or refrigerator. As a matter of fact there was not even a door to the bathroom!! ???? There are other things I'd also mention like cockroaches,no extra blankets or towels, and loud and obnoxious music while you're sleeping but I think you get the jist of it.
Horrible experience from the time i opened the door. Small pieces of trash all over the floor. Sheets had hair and crumbs and when i went to the front desk to ask for different sheets the man argued with me telling me he was sure the room was clean because the housekeeper told him so. Refused to give me different sheets or even apologize for the nasty room. He just continued to argue with me and told me he'd been doing this line of work for 17 years. What a joke. Will never return
