Room wasnt cleaned properly, we originally booked a non-smoking room, and it smelled like smoke, but the front desk lady was very helpful and moved us to a different room. However, we needed to check put early for marine graduation, and at 7:30 a.m., the front doors were locked, and no one was at the desk. I called later on to try and checkout, and no one answered the phone.
I make it compliment a business when I receive good service.|This time however I must complain about my stay at Americas Best Beaufort SC.|The customer does not come first with those who run this hotel. |First impression was the hotel was worn and very difficult to locate behind another hotel. Poor sign from street. |I would've changed and gone to another hotel, except that I had paid in advance on line.||1. Reception was untidy, a boy was lolling on the couch with a man nearby who spoke no English. |2. Woman at desk made me present my driver's licence at desk. Not a friendly atmosphere.|3. Room was OK but looke worn out.|4. Sheet covering Mattress was stained.|5. Single bed sheet could only be pulled halfway. I had to get up and completely remake the bed. |6. Top cover was not clean.|7. Office was still closed at 8 a.m. No one on duty when I tried to check out.|8. Had I forgotten to take the key with me I would not have been able to get back into my room. |9. No breakfast even though it was advertised online.|10. Country Inn and Suites was next door. They were wonderful, offering me a cup of coffee to get me going.
This place is terrible!!! Very rundown, nonsmoking room reeked of cigarette smoked! No WiFi or breakfast and only one small vending machine with nothing to drink! I am disabled but there is no cart or anything to move my luggage to the room. That meant I had to drag my things down the walk way to get everything into my room!!! No help at all!! Even though I added an extra day I had to check out at 11am, no late checkout and then I was not allowed to check back in until 3pm!!! Thank goodness I booked with an outside agency and I was able to cancel the second night and was refunded. First night was $80 through the motel!!!! Second night would have been $63 through the online booking company!!! Also there was a large communication issue because the clerk doesn’t speak English!!!!! Beware of this terrible motel!!!
Positive: It was close to where I had to go to the Marine Paris Island Negative: It had roaches, towels wasn?t cleaned filthy dirty, they didn?t come in to change the sheets and dirty towels or change the trash bags. Everything had to be sit outside and they didn?t informed you on how they do it with the cleaning. Bed
Positive: Nothing ! It was disgusting! Negative: The guy at the front desk barley talked As soon had we walked into our room we was supposed to stay in their was bugs everywhere and when I went to the front desk he didn?t show no respect or say even say sorry that we ran into this problem!
If it was possible they would get no stars the room I been in was full up with mold from top to bottom look like the room that has not been opened in months they got bed bugs roaches real bad walls are dirty and did not have a TV microwave or a refrigerator inside the room look like I was in a naked room when I saw all that I left immediately with my refund I don't see how they still open then they're very quick to put u on the do not rent list for complaining about their rooms smh well y'all need to do better
Most disgusting room I've ever stayed in! Reeks of Marijuana, clogged tub, no shower curtain, filthy bathroom, dirty cloth hanging in bathroom would not allow me to change rooms
Rats in the room on the floors at night. Worst Hotel I've EVER stayed at. Owner wanted me to leave room from 8am-3pm everyday as a rule to ean rooms. Asking Bank for refund!. F minus????
