I have never left a review for anyone before, but I had such a great experience I had to write one. This is the place to go to get your glasses. All of the staff are kind and attentive. They had a great deal going on for glasses so I basically got a second pair for free. Jennifer was incredibly helpful and very kind. I was torn between two pair of glasses and ended up choosing one of them. When I got home I realized that I didn’t get the ones I really wanted. I’m the type of person who is too scared to go get my nails fixed if they were done wrong, but because of the welcoming environment I felt comfortable to reach out and ask if I could come back and swap them out. Jennifer said I could and that it would be no problem at all. She reassured me that it was no problem to get me in the glasses I really wanted. Great customer service as well as a quick visit! I highly recommend them.
OK let's start of by say thanks american best for your services you providing. And your wonderful staff in Hurst Texas Team workers. But I have to say Ms. Jennifer is America Best she has fixed every problem I have had from day one ..... from adjustment to repair and now replacement yes all caused by me lol ????. She take time to listen to my Eyewear issues I was haven 1st time wearing glasses thanks Jennifer. Thanks America Best
First time in, great experience so far. Pros, fast knowledgeable staff, clean store, great selection of eyewear, and great prices without insurance.
Cons, does feel a little like you are just a number and being led like an assembly line. The front desk lady was busy on the phone but did her best to direct me to where to go next but, felt as if I was bothering her :\ otherwise I was satisfied. Waiting on glasses to come back so shall see how the pick up visit goes!
UPDATE:
well I had ordered some contacts. And I asked the girl when I ordered them to make sure they were the correct ones. She assured me they were the correct ones. (Cause the trials I got were the wrong ones. ) had to get correct ones.
And sure enough when I went to pick up my contacts. They are the wrong ones. So now I got to wait another week or so to get the correct ones.
The girl at front desk was very nice and re ordered the correct ones and having them sent to my house.
And I asked her a trial pair she did give them another pair. Cause my other trials was over 2 weeks old.
Just to add to my not great experience there.
had an appt today for 11 AM. I got there at 1050 as requested. Checked in and girl at front desk was nice enough . Didn't talk with anyone else . No one offered to help me look for glasses or see if I was ok . The girl that does the pre op was nice also, got in that part fast and went well. Then FINALLY at 12:10 the DR called me in to see her. Was a very fast visit. Maybe 7 minutes, told me things were fine . Tried to make some small talk she knew i was aggravated . Then she sat me out in the contact area waiting for some trials. . Waited and waited. Then finally got some one to help me. Got my trials and left with no glasses. None that I liked. Finally left at 12:40 PM
Shouldn't take that long at all eye appt. Was only 3 people in front of me . One guy left cause of the wait.
They were not busy at all. There was 4 workers there .only 3 customers
Not a good experience
Only con: There’s no music or anything so you hear everyone’s business and it kinda makes you want to whisper lol
Other than that,
I had the best experience today choosing my glasses with Gigi! She really seemed to care about my happiness and allowed me to try on several pairs! Jennifer was also a great help! She stayed patient with me the whole time while I tried on several pairs! Very grateful to have been paired with her when I walked in! Ask for Gigi! :)
Fantastic in-store customer service at the Hurst Texas location. Much thanks to Gigi for helping me get the glasses ordered. The experience was great and her assistance exemplary! I can't wait to get them!
Unprofessional. I tried three times to see the doctor, and he or she was never there, I asked when he/she will be there, and the front desk told me that maybe on Mondays.
I asked who could help me with information about contact lenses, and in very bad disposition an employee named Carla, said that she, without looking up from the computer. I sat down in front of her and asked her for information on price, etc. Without taking her eyes off the computer, she answered me in disgust, without offering any information, and without looking me in the face. I insisted with the questions I had but it was impossible to bring her to the reality that she was at work and not playing games on the PC. Already tired, I told her I was leaving if she didn't want to attend me and give the information, and then for the first time she saw my face.
The place is always empty and I understand why.
I do not recommend it.
