Dr. Patel was very thorough in explaining everything to me during my exam, and Jennifer was very helpful, and knowledgeable when it came time to pick out my frames. They have a buy two pairs of eyeglasses for $79 in place, which is for single vision but I was so pleased with the service that I received that I bought three pairs of glasses, and a pair of shades! I highly recommend this establishment!!!
In my personal opinion this place deserves zero stars but clearly that is not in option. To sum it up, if you value our eye health DO NOT go here! I don’t care if you think it’s the best choice because they scam you with “2 pairs for $79”. There is little to no selection in that price range and the quality of their lenses is not top tier. Don’t even be fooled by the $129 eye care club! They either rush their eye exams they perform, switch out doctors every other appointment or cancel on you even though you arrived on time and waited for over an hour. Save your money, time and sanity and go to Pearle Vision or LensCrafters. There are sooo many eye care establishments with actual qualified doctors who care about your eye health and will take their time in the exam room. These people messed up my prescription three times and almost ruined my eyes because of it. Then gaslighted me by saying that blurry vision with my contacts they prescribed was “normal” News Flash!! IT IS NOT!!!! I lost out on money I will never get back and they scammed yet ANOTHER patient/customer! The new place I went to told me that within the past few weeks, they have had a crowd of people coming in with prescription issues that America’s Best created! Protect your eyes and your wallets! They deserve to be shut down and if not stopped, will some day mess up someone’s vision! And corporate needs to do better!!! They do not care either! No refunds, no calls back or anything!
incredibly rude. I chose these frames that were on clearance- super cute, and needed my prescription faxed over. the lady said she would save them. came back like a week later and the lady had said that she sold the glasses, and was never going to save them, and started to have attitude with me and my family after that. we had a similar problem a few years back. but in that case the staff was just really rude. not coming to here again, or americas best anywhere. another one in strongsville was rude too. please get better customer service.
In general, it’s such an easy place to get an appointment, Dr. Patel is very helpful and all of the staff are always very nice. Jennifer at Westgate has been super friendly and helpful. She has assisted me and my kids find great glasses that work great for us—she remembers every detail and makes choosing glasses a fun experience.
How many people need to complain before you start to see a pattern? Folks, they allow only 10 minutes or less for each "exam" I never felt so rushed in my life. The appointment was so astoundingly rushed, I feel I did not receive the correct prescription. I tried to complain to Dwight, the District manager.. That guy has red buttoned me for the very last time. I'm simply taking my business else where like most of these folks here. P.S. Please save your Vague response directing me to your E-Mail, because IT AINT HAPPENIN! You just lost one heck of a customer.
Dr Patel was very efficient, friendly and thorough with my exam! SERENA did an outstanding job helping me decide on frames and lens types. She was friendly, informative, and an absolute pleasure to work with! I think every business could use an employee like Serena… one that that cares, is compassionate and truly there to give her best for customers! The entire encounter , from the first “hello”, to picking up my glasses, was a GOLD STANDARD of care for service! This will be my MY chosen place for glasses and eyewear from now on, I RECOMMEND THE SAME FOR YOU! Big love and many thanks Serena, Dr Patel and all other staff! Bravo ????
I don't get why they set up appointments I was here 15 mins early and sat in waiting room with one other person who was already here. Then another came in 5 mins after was pulled in before me. And then 15 mins later a dad and daughter sit down to be pulled in before me to be examined also how are you gonna have someone who's been waiting wait longer???? Worst mistake coming here should have gone to pearl vision they always give the greatest customer service and have more than one eye dr in too.
Very unprofessional environment. After making the appointment online we followed up with a phone call to confirm that the sale price will still be valid. When we arrived they said the price is not valid anymore an the gentleman (Bret) continued to point to the wall in a rude manor saying the price is on the wall, while continuing to say there is nothing they can do for us. Now I’m without glasses because we budgeted for the sale price that was promised. Times are hard for most family’s and most are forced to live on a budget bc of the economy and bc we have family / kids we care for. This is a second time this happened and my family and I will not be returning. On a side Note: The lady named Jennifer was nice. This would be the 3rd location we tried in years. Unfortunately the fruit to fall to far from the tree.
My recommendation: Start hiring customer oriented people.
