I had a terrible experience at this location, starting with an excessive wait time of nearly 2.5 hours for an eye exam. After finally being seen, I was informed I needed reading glasses. However, when I returned two weeks later to pick up the glasses, putting them on made everything blurry and gave me a dizzy feeling.
When I mentioned this to the staff, they rechecked my prescription and shockingly told me I didn’t need glasses after all! I pointed out that this suggested my eye exam had been inaccurate, and I requested a refund. At first, I was told they would only refund $10. Eventually, I spoke to management, who agreed to a full refund.
Even after management approved this, other staff members began openly discussing that I shouldn’t receive a refund, showing clear disregard for professionalism. This experience was filled with poor service, unreasonable wait times, and rude staff behavior. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Joshua was great! He is very professional yet also put me at ease with his relaxed nature. He provided helpful tips regarding eyeglass fit. He made it easy to narrow down to the right pair -- I knew I could trust his judgment.
He was very helpful outlining price comparisons as well.

My experience at this store was horrible. After 6 weeks, I finally went in for a full refund on a replacement pair, after the first ones were wrong.
This store has poor business practices, and the quality of their glasses is not great. The wait for ordered glasses was ridiculous. The insurance shell game they tried to play on me was a joke.
I went across the street to another company that had glasses ready the next day. They fit perfectly.
What I thought would be saving money by going to America's Best, turned out to joke on me. Don't be that next customer.
I arrived at 5:55 for my 5:45 appointment, and they said my appointment was canceled after 5 mins. They said my appointment was virtual, ( I don't understand how you can have a virtual eye exam). On multiple occasions, I have waited 15-20 mins for an appointment, but you canceled me in 5 minutes, as if the doctors time is more important than mine. I will not patronize any establishment with that type of attitude. I don't owe you my business, and I will take my business to a place that understands and respects that I have a choice.
On 08/23/2024 @ 4:00 pm EST, I visited the America's Best store in Dulles Town Crossing in Sterling , Virginia. The staff Who work in the store sterling Virginia very unprofessional and not helpful. They make my son and I feel that we are not welcome, But the eye doctor is good.

Today is 09/17/2024 and I am still waiting more than 3 weeks to get my son free one contact lenses to make sure it fits him properly and get him trained on how to use his contact lenses as this is his first time to wear contact lenses.
I did not get any email or text from The America's Best technician about any update of my son contact lenses!
Used to have a great experience here. However the front desk staff is not very helpful. I came into pick up a pair of contact lenses that I pick up monthly. I came in this week and they increased the price on my contacts and no one could answer my question as to why the price increased. This is really disappointing as the staff should be able to answer patients questions. This location needs to do better.
This was the first time to visit this location for my wife’s eye exam. I’m giving 3 stars for couple of reason. She filled out all the information online before getting there to expedite things and save time. We got there about 15 minutes before her appointment but the doctor saw her after an hour. Staff was friendly and professional.
Great service, event though I made to my appointment 10 minutes late the accommodate with me. Nice staffs and good deals on their products
