Went for my exam here and got 3 pair of glasses.
You absolutely can not beat the prices or the selection here.
I wasn't happy with the way I was able to see out of one pair of the glasses and had to go back. Jeffrey the assistant manager couldn't have been any nicer as was the Eye Dr. himself.
They went out of their way to make sure I was satisified and did it with a smile.

I wanted to buy new glasses. Since my prescription had expired, I was examined by a doctor again. The doctor said that I have minor changes in vision. I asked the doctor to keep the previous prescription. she said she would leave him. I know that this clinic specifically tells you that your vision has changed a little in order to sell you as many glasses as possible and so that your vision becomes worse with each glasses. My previous glasses suited me and I saw perfectly in them, but they told me that my vision had worsened and I agreed to change the prescription. but in vain! Now thanks to this clinic, my vision has gotten worse. and now, two years later, they are trying to do the same thing again! Their number one goal is for your vision to only worsen and for you to constantly buy their glasses. I asked the doctor to leave the old prescription and she said that she would do so. but when I arrived, it turned out that they changed my recipe without my consent, they simply increased the sharpness. I noticed this and said that I didn’t like it. they literally forced me to wear glasses with a prescription that doesn't fit or need me! I am disappointed! I will go to another clinic and ask them to give me glasses with a prescription that I need and that suits me. I'm very angry at them! they just wasted my time! $400 for two pairs of glasses and they didn’t even call me when the glasses were ready! I've been waiting for glasses for over a month! I don't like the employees of this place! I really don't recommend going here!
The actual optometrist was fast, courteous, and very professional. All but one front desk staff member is snide and lazy for instance I didn’t get my sample eye contacts for 4 months because one of them dialed my number wrong and didn’t bother to double check with anyone else. Feels like a waste of time when I come here. They seem annoyed by customers like man if I could afford lasik surgery I would’ve done it years ago and done away with needing places like this.
The doctors and the person who did take care of my glasses are very nice but the employees there are very rude. I came today to do eye exam and purchase glasses, one of the employees was standing at the door with her nasty face looking at me and said nothing. The same person almost hit me when i wanted to get out of the store but she didn’t say sorry or even look at me, she just talked to other employees and pretended i wasn’t there. She just shouldn’t be there!
THIS IS A BIG SCAM. I am new to glasses and saw the sign reading "2 pair for $79.95." Not being born yesterday, I assumed that the real price would be more. However, I was not expecting that my glasses would cost $330! Now, that is just ridiculous. I could see if they were $105 or something but to put up a sign saying $79 and then turn around and charge someone FOUR TIMES THE AMOUNT is something that the Better Business Bureau should investigate. Ultimately, I bought glasses and was told they would be there in 7-10 business days. Today is the 12th day and the manager says he can't find the glasses in the system anywhere. "They may be with UPS on their way here." This is 100% unacceptable. I would just get my money back if I thought they weren't gonna send me around the world to do it. Meanwhile, Abdi was very nice and seems to know his job. Too bad he's forced to tell people their glasses cost FOUR TIMES what the sign says. I really just want my money back and a recommendation for a good place to get glasses.
Great experience at America's Best - Columbus Blvd. The optometrist was very knowledgeable and caring. I explained to a staff person that to me that is the differentiator. You can purchase glasses or contacts anywhere, but getting a good exam and consultation on your eyes is critical. I also had a great experience at the City Avenue location. Maybe the leadership of the company has figured out they have to compete by having some of the best optometrists, and I believe they are some if the best !

I had a great experience. The doctor actually remembered me from previous years and is always friendly. John helped me pick out a pair of glasses and his customer service was awesome. Super clean too!! I was happy to hear disinfectant spray after each person use of the optical tests before you see the doctor. The women who did that was really nice too. I dread looking for glasses but now I can't wait to go back and pick up my glasses!
