MELANIE WAS GREAT! Was a great experience for my daughter. Melanie was patient and very helpful. Options were discussed and will definitely use them for the future. Doctor was somewhat short, but the front staff was great. Also, it was staffed well. I mention this because other similar places I literally walked out because there was no help or communication.
Yvette was very professional and patient in explaining my insurance benefits ????

Front receptionists get 1 star. They act bothered for asking questions on the order placed. They have no clue on how to confirm what was ordered and what has arrived at their location. (

I was hoping this location would be a better experience than what I had at the Cedar Hill Tx store a few years ago. But there isn’t much of a difference. Maybe all Americas Best are the same.
I just went to check some frames and I was amazed with the prices, professionalism, and knowledge of Yvette which helped us out. I'm switching my appointment to them from now on. I feel like she really paid attention to what WE wanted, which has not been the case in other places I've gone to. She's awesome and genuine and has now gained two customers when I was just going to look at the frames available.
I went in to get lenses from 1 frame to another frame that I did not buy from there and was willing to pay for the cost to do that. Well unbeknownst to me, they did not charge me a penny. And they were friendly and kind !!! I will definitely be a customer from now on. Thank you America's Best !!!!
Obtaining my prescription from this office has been a frustrating experience. I initially called on Monday to request it via email, but I was told they couldn't send it electronically due to system constraints. Instead, they offered the option to have it ready for pick up or to send it via fax. Opting for fax, I called again today to have it sent to my office. However, I was surprised to learn they could only send it to another optical office, not directly to me. This inconsistency forced me to express frustration, which is something I strive to avoid, especially given my profession in a dental office. It should be straightforward to verify my identity and send the prescription to the requesting party.
After a hold, I provided my office's fax number and requested my daughter's prescription as well. Despite this, nearly 30 minutes later, I am still waiting for the fax to arrive.
Furthermore, I have lingering concerns about the customer service during our previous visits to this office. The doctor we saw seemed distant and impersonal, which was disheartening for my spirited 9-year-old daughter, who attempted to engage in conversation only to be brushed off. Waiting nearly 45 minutes to be seen further added to our frustration. The only positive interactions were with the technicians during the checkout process.
Overall, I had hoped for smoother prescription handling and a more personable approach during our visits. These issues have left me questioning the efficiency and customer care at this establishment.
Rude girl at front desk. Was rude when i was in last time..rude this time.
Told her what I was there for..she told me to sit and they'd come to me...but did not ask my name. I simply said don't you need my name? She rolled her eyes and gave me a go to he'll look. I've only been in this store twice in my life.
When you walk in door..desk is on the left to check in. She always sits on right. Long dark hair. Couldn't see her name tag. She needs to learn how to react to customers. Others in store were nice. Only She has an attitude both times.
I visited this place over the weekend because it came highly recommended by someone with good judgement. I had a good experience minus a rocky registration process. Dr. Allen, Yisel and Talesha provided exceptional service and made up for their colleague that had no sense of couth. And because I understand that not all of us are created equal, I'll allow her to remain nameless!
I was in and out quickly :) the staff is friendly and Yisel helped me pick glasses for my face shape :) I’ve been here for a while and love it everytime . The doctor is thorough honest and nice!
