This review is specifically for the optometrist, Dr. Nguyen. She is wonderful and you don’t normally find doctors of this quality at chain establishments like this. She got my contact lens prescription so absolutely correct, I have worn them since I was a teenager and I haven’t seen this clearly with contacts in years. She is extremely skilled at what she does.
I recently had a very poor experience at my long time optical (15 yrs) which went corporate this year. Having paid $300+ for lenses that were incorrectly made. They offered a correction at MY expense. I decided to take my business elsewhere ????
My choice was America's Best in Flower Mound. What a day and night experience! I was able to get a quick appt, had a very thorough exam, and the customer experience was just wonderful, from exam to selection of new frames. Staff were so fun to work with, and Jo (Joquel) was just the best! She was so fun and patient with finding me just the right frames that make me smile ????. She also worked up multiple pricing options that were within my budget, and less than the cost of the correction quoted at my now OLD optical office. This was hands down the most fun and enjoyable part of my day, and I can't wait for my new glasses to arrive! Thanks Jo ????

1. I experienced no problems with the optometrist. I had an appointment to update my contact prescription, and although there was a wait, it was not unreasonable.
2. After my exam I waited for over an hour to be helped: trial pairs, prescriptions, and payment.
3. I was given my glasses prescription, but they did not have my trial contacts in stock. They had to order them, which could take up to 10 days, and I would be notified.
I asked and was refused my contact prescription - which was against Texas law unless it was stated and written by the optometrist to not release.
4. Today is 15 days since my eye appointment. I called, and they did have the trial pairs. I was not notified that they had come in.
I again had to ask for my contact prescriptions. I was told that she didn’t know if she could print them because I had not tried them. She did print and give them to me; however, I had to ask for my prescription, which I had already paid for on 7/25/2024.
The last pair of glasses that I got at this location did not correct my vision appropriately. (I cannot read the TV description on a very large TV.) In addition, they did not adjust them or fit them at all, which causes them to fall off when I look down.
I do not recommend due to lack of customer service, unreasonable wait times, and refusal to give the prescription.
Dr. Teec was wonderful! Best, most through eye exam I have ever had. He answered all my questions and was very patient. I never felt rushed. Mitchell helped me choose frames and specific add-ons. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. All in all a great experience. Thank you.
America’s Best read my original negative post on my experience. Contacted me not once but several times…I’ll just say apologized. …. The store manager (Dana) and Dr Nguyen are the best. As I stated in my original posting. The District Manager was incredible as well. Sorry I forgot his name.
And no I did not seek refunds of any kind. I think punishment of companies financially has become a sickening practice among consumers, for one individual’s negative actions is pathetic.
Americas Best will continue to take care of my one set of eyes! I highly recommend this establishment. Thank you!!!
I always hate going for eye exams and new glasses but had a really great experience at this location. All associates were super helpful and kind. I worked with Monica. She's was so nice and helped me pick glasses that were best for me. I just wanted to thank all of you ladies! I will definitely be back????
The experience was highly satisfactory. The environment was clean and the employees were cheerful and helpful. In particular, Hannah and Elizabeth provided exceptional assistance in teaching me how to insert my contact lenses.
Susan at America’s Best was absolutely phenomenal! She helped my wife find the perfect pair of glasses and sunglasses, and the entire experience was seamless. Her knowledge, patience, and genuine care made all the difference. We were impressed by her attention to detail and her ability to find frames that fit perfectly and looked amazing.
