Literally the best experience ever. I was in and out in 35 mins. Completed a glasses exam & got two pairs of glasses all for less than when I did one exam & one pair of glasses through my last provider. The doctor was so sweet and personable. Nola helped me check out at the end. She was extremely helpful and gave me all the info I needed! Never going anywhere else again! This is my new spot for eye wear!
I recommend this place. Great customer service both getting eye exams and buying contacts and glasses. I recently bought glasses, and there was an issue with one pair. I was able to reorder another frame with no hassle. Taj was very helpful and understanding.
Have been coming to this location for two years and each experience has been great. Easy exam, in and out. This time after the exam was finished, I had Ikira help me pick out my glasses and inform me of my prescription. He was really informative and filled me in on everything without missing a beat. Definitely will keep coming back to this location.
This review is for the Silber location in Houston.
I made an apointment clearly for the $79.95 exam and two single vision pairs of glasses. When I showed up the fellow that wanted to check me in told me that if I wanted lenses for the glasses, it would cost me an additional $69.95. No misunderstanding on my part since I recorded the conversation and reviewed it when I got home. Could be he was just confused and not explaining himself well, but when I said that if I had to pay more than 79.95 for simple glasses with uncomplicated prescription, that I was leaving. He said okay and I left. And there were other employees listening to this conversation and no one said a word to me. I called later and spoke to Nola, the "office manager" who gave me several baffling explanations before finally telling me that the extra charge was optional coverage that would insure the glasses against damage. It was like pulling teeth to get a straight explanation. Choose another optometrist. Life is too short.
Purchasing was great but pick up not so much. The receptionist acted as if I was an inconvenience saying good morning. Told me to take a seat them provided my glasses with out asking how the felt or providing any acknowledgement they needed to be adjusted. Get better staff!
So I decided to try America's best because I needed some glasses my prescription is a bit complicated and the doctor is extremely knowledgeable even more great, is the eyeglass staff and everybody was super nice my technician was knowledgeable and did not apply pressuring sales tactics on me he only gave me what I needed and I got a great deal Three pairs of glasses today that's glasses for the new deal they have and a third pair using my old frames that I bought elsewhere. I am so glad that they are kind and knowledgeable and have a great selection they are also handicap friendly! If you need glasses go here you'll get a great deal for less than 200 bucks for multiple glasses it's just an incredible place to get good value and get knowledgeable and friendly people to help you I went there today and I am extremely satisfied
Came here due to availability and costs… don’t be fooled. Nothing is included in exam price. Tryna charge me $300+ and the doctor didn’t even bother going over her results with me. I had to go over my own prescription and then come back and demand for the doctor to tell me her findings. They just take your money and send you out the door.
Update: They didn’t even bother to reach out to me when my order came in… I guess I don’t fit the clientele.
I helped a friend with her eye exam and glasses, and I want to say that the staff at America’s Best in Houston on Silber were excellent. They took great care of my friend and spent a lot of time with her on her concerns … and the glasses were a great value and arrived super fast. Highly recommend! A+++
