I have been a loyal customer of America's Best Eyewear for 20 years, relying on them for both glasses and contact lenses. The staff and doctors are consistently great, providing excellent service and care. However, in the last couple of years, I have experienced significant delays in receiving trial contact lenses, which now take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks to arrive. Unfortunately, these delays are not communicated upfront, so be aware if you need your lenses quickly. While I still appreciate the professionalism of the staff, the reliability in delivering products on time has diminished. Unfortunately, I will no longer be recommending them.
The first year I went here my only issue was that I was never notified when my glasses and contacts arrived.
This year has been the worst, I would never spend another penny in this place. To start it took three weeks for my trials to arrive and I had to call to ask if they had received them. Issue with the right contact it takes a week to get in to get it fixed. The dr says she's only changing the axis so tell me why the power went up on the prescription? But I waited and tried them anyways. Still cannot see out of my right eye and the earliest they can get me in is in several weeks. This won't work as I needed new contacts over a month ago. They will not refund me for the exam so I can go somewhere else and now I have to drive to fort Collins. The fort collins store was not surprised that I had such an awful experience here.
During this one of my glasses lenses pops out. I bring them in this has never happened to me before and I repurchased the same frames that previously had. I am told they're fixed and they're not, so I drive back to the store and I have to insist that they aren't fixed. I even pressed on the lense which easily slipped out. So I leave them at the store to be fixed.
Not only is the quality bad from this location. ALL of the employees are grossly incompetent and unprofessional, which is extremely unethical considering they cater to people's health.
Similar to others, scheduled in May for a June 7 appointment, June 1st they called to reschedule because a doctor was sick. The new appointment was for today June 27, I was 15 mns late, their next opening isnt till July 18. The Fort Collins location has me going in at noon tomorrow. I wasted a month trying to do my business in Cheyenne. They get 2 stars because they are so polite, great customer service and communication, wonderful folks and a good company I think. I just wish they would have considered that I had already been flexible for them and want to enjoy some of the summer with contact lenses.
Caleb worked with me this afternoon to straighten my glasses that Had came in. He paid great attention to detail in adjusting them to fit me perfectly and also spent time adjusting my other pair that I wore in. I have not always had this much care when coming in and appreciate the great costumer service. Invest in great employees such as him and you will have nothing but kind words.Thanks guys!
Dr. Stevens was so nice! I brought my baby in and she was so sweet to him as she did my exam. I absolutely loved my experience! Everything was clean and organized. It is definitely affordable as well. I liked all of the people working there.
I will never go here again! Who requires a second visit for contacts after you tell them the trial pair is good? I went to a different America's Best location and they ordered them right over the phone with no issues and no second visit. Employees were down right rude and insistent about having a follow-up. I've been wearing contacts for 40+ years and have never been asked to do a follow-up unless I said there were issues with the trial pair. I wouldn't go here unless you have lots of time on your hands!
Best customer service ever!!! Came in without an appointment, but I needed an eye exam for a new license. Got in within 10 minutes, the girls at the front desk are super friendly. I got lucky they were able to squeeze me in-between two other appointments. Optometrist was very helpful and friendly. Got my new glasses ordered and they came in a week later!! This was my second time going there and it's getting better and better ❣️
Terrible experience with even trying to schedule. They scheduled me then canceled me on the day of. Rescheduled for a few days later, then they canceled again day of Appointment. I do not recommend this local place. I had to schedule in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Our money and time is worth it to deal with professionals.
