This location has given me the BEST exam I think I have had in many years. I am thoroughly pleased! I was able to pick out a pair of glasses from a vast selection and tweak them to be mine all mine, including blue light and reflective coatings. Everyone was kind and helpful.
You may have been to other locations and been disappointed. I know I was. You won't be here!
This place is so bad. Have had to make 2 complaints to corporate already. The most recent issue being I got sent the wrong contact lenses. Went in store to return them and they told me they were refunding them and that the general manager (Annette) would call me back with more information since the regular workers for some reason aren't authorized to give refunds. General manager calls me back saying the old order has been refunded and the new and correct contact lenses were being shipped to me. 10 days later, no contact lenses, so i call the store and they have no record of my return and no record of the correct contact lenses being sent out to me. The reasoning being "our general manager is no longer with the store" 2 thumbs down. ????????????????
Alex at the Kelsey Creek Center location was approachable, kind, patient and knowledgeable during my recent eye examination and eye glass purchase. Thank you, Alex, for providing excellent customer service! Alex answered every question I had and created a positive and no-sales pressure experience for me. Alex deserves a raise!
Just horrible. They have messed up orders and I had to make multiple trips to get my glasses. Then today I find out that they can't mail my prescription to me. They will only fax them (no one owns a fax machine anymore) or they make you come in physically to pick up the prescription. Not a realistic option for folks that don't live near an America's Best. Would urge the business to update practices to current times.
This location particularly, the staff was giving me "We Hate Blacks"vibe/looks/ We going to act like you didn't come in 1st, with an appointment. No. The women staff left me waiting for over 45 mins before even being seen, and seen everyone else except me & I got a deal 2 pair for 69.95, they did the contacts exam on their without telling me about the charge. I just took my business elsewhere also. They were ignoring me on purpose & waiting for you to get upset or yell, they was eagerly waiting to be "offend"
I was a customer for 20 years until an incident occurred where my lenses were damaged during an adjustment. America's Best is not known for their exemplary customer service, but I had been a loyal customer. Unfortunately, my lenses were broken just before a planned month-long vacation. The staff was willing to fix the lenses, which were less than a year old; however, they informed me that my prescription had expired and I would need to pay over $140 for an eye exam. ????
I just took my business elsewhere, even if it means paying a bit more. It was not about the cost, but rather about principle. While I understand that they could not provide me with lenses without a current prescription, I believe they could have offered a free or discounted eye exam as a gesture of goodwill. I entered the store with undamaged lenses and left without any glasses, only to be asked to spend more money due to their mistake. I'm good. I wish everyone else better experiences. ✌️
America's Best has some of the best deals on corrective lenses, especially in relation to the rest of Luxottica - however that appears to come at the cost of customer service. Alex, a representative at the Bellevue location, made sure to be short, hostile and inhospitable. I will happily spend more to never deal with this person or this branch again.
I literally bought my glasses at the beginning of April and by mid-May, the lens already popped out and pops out anytime I clean my glasses. I’ve only gently wiped them and for them to break after just over a month is unacceptable when I spent about $200 on them ???? I will be returning to costco for my next pair, which will probably be significantly sooner than the two years they were supposed to last.
