For several years I’ve ordered my daughter’s glasses from here (after having an exam elsewhere) - the price of glasses can’t be beat.
I’ve now used their eye exam services for myself twice, two years apart (I know… I shouldn’t have waited two years). The first time, I easily scheduled online and there was a short wait to see the doctor.
The most recent time, this week, it was once again easy to schedule online. When I arrived, I was surprised to see 5 people waiting for the one doctor, which I figured didn’t bode well, and I was correct. I arrived at 10:15 for a 10:20 appointment and didn’t see the doctor until 11:25. I don’t even understand how they were so far behind schedule as I asked and the doctor doesn’t even start appointments until 9:30am. Once I finally saw him, I found the doctor to be friendly and competent.
The waiting area is also the least comfortable and friendly waiting area I’ve ever experienced at any kind of health office. The chairs are literally bus/train station metal seats, all connected together. I didn’t take a picture of the area because it was so full of people.
I’m not sure if I’ll go back for exams in the future, but will probably keep ordering glasses here because the prices can’t be beat.
Wow, first impressions. Me needing a new eye exam, contacts and glasses a friend at work suggested America’s Best. I called the closest location to my house (Anderson Lane) and made an appointment. I walked in to the warmest welcome from Kimberly. She got me checked in, answered some questions I had all with a big smile and great attitude. The store was very clean and had a great selection of glasses.
I totally love this store and will definitely be back to continue my eye care here.
I had a great customer service experience at America's Best Contacts and Eyeglasess. All of the staff that I encountered showed a high level of professionalism from the time I walked into the door, and until I departed. You always get quality lenses and frames for a fraction of the cost as compared to other places. I also found out per my last visit to get several frames adjusted, that this particular service is offered at no cost!! Well done America's Best!!!
Waited over 2 hours with a scheduled appointment for eye exam. Insurance coverage was not explained accurately and was not told about warranties. Avoid at all costs. Wasted an entire afternoon and a bunch of money.
Edit- even the reply from business seems like they really don't care about customer experience.
I have been a member here for about 3 years if not more, today will be the last day of my business with them. The front desk African-American lady at the 2525 W Anderson Lane location was very rude to me. I came in asking for an emergency contact because mine fell out while i was working and had to be back at work. She told me that she wouldn't give me a temporary contact unless i bought contacts which i couldn't afford at the moment. i tried to explain that I was a member, and that i would be back when the time was right for me, but then she raised her voice at me telling me nothing is free, and that she didn't care that I was a member and that i had to pay for something. She claimed it was something along the lines of policy, but it felt like extortion due to my personal emergency. Fortunately, i had a family member help me out so I was able to see clearly again and drive on the road, but these people don't care about your well being, her especially, they just care about money apparently.

First time there and was helped by everyone their staff is amazing. From employees Kai, Elle, to the general manager, assistant manager. All were super helpful. Totally recommending this location for sure! Thank you everyone.
I was made to wait at every point possible. The doctor wasn't very thorough at all. Either the doctor or the staff forgot to order my trial contacts so two weeks later when I finally followed up they had to start the whole process over. Vexation at every turn.
Brenda and the entire front office staff were so welcoming and helpful in finding my new insurance information. This is the reason I come to Americas Best and continue to recommend them to family and friends! :)
