I have absolutely got to give credit where it’s due. I was greeted promptly and seen within 10 minutes for my exam. Every person (5 total) I came into contact with during my visit was friendly, funny in a good way LOL, and so patient with trying to figure out my insurance benefits. There was someone being not friendly in there and they handled him like a boss! He left in a better mood because of the staff. I love that they displayed the fact they are welcoming and inclusive which I think is so super important right now.Repeat customer for sure!!!
I had difficulty scheduling an appointment. The service was fine, and the prescription sunglasses that I purchased have held up. However, the regular glasses that cost roughly $200 have been of exceptionally poor quality, and nothing but a problem. Almost immediately, I had to go back and have them adjusted because the left lens kept falling out.
This problem has persisted throughout my owning the glasses , to the point where the lens will no longer remain in the frame, in spite of my own daily adjustment. A product that costs this much should never need the amount of repairs that I have put into it. The worst part, is that I am not eligible for a new pair through my insurance for another year, so in order to function in my daily life and drive legally, I am forced to go out-of-pocket and pay for the entire cost myself.
America's Best is not worth the gamble you will be taking, given the overall cost of the product and the potential lack of quality. I will not be giving them any return business.
American best is great, especially Stephanie and kelsey they both went over and beyond to assist me with repairing my glasses. Kelsey did not want to keep me waiting because she had someone ahead of me, but she sent me to another tech that was available to assist with my needs and her name was Stephanie, she was more than knowledgeable, she had the tools and the ability to fix my glasses when 3 or 4 other technicians from different places could not. Thank you again Stephanie and Kelsey they both are very patient and helpful, not just with me, They were helpful with every customer that came through that door thank you American best family in Huber Heights OH.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Below average visit compared to past visits. I have come here a few times in the past few years and was happy with the experiences. It's been well over a year since my last visit. I will say that the optometrist herself was very professional and friendly. My appointment was at 4:30. I wasn't called back to see her until about 6:15. I left the store a little after 6:30. I had spoken with someone across the front counter asking about the delay was told, "I'm not sure what she's (optometrist) doing." I did receive an apology from the doctor when I was called in after she had been informed that I had been waiting. I learned from the doctor that there was a computer problem due to the Microsoft issue and that was the reason for the delay. Since that was a known issue, in my opinion, it should have been communicated when I checked in that they were behind schedule. I had someone watching my child at home so I could be focused at the appointment. I also drove 25 miles one way to be there so was significantly late to pick him up after everything was finalized. I am hoping the experience is a one off. I will go back another time, but if the experience is similar to this, I won't be returning. Communication is key and had I not said anything, I doubt they would know how long my wait was. That last part is speculation but they seemed surprised to hear that my appointment was at 4:30 and at 6 I had still not seen the doctor.
On a side note, they are a clean facility. And generally good reviews. Generally understanding and professional staff.
Kelsey and Chole were so welcoming and professional. Kelsey is amazing at helping choose frames. I was very happy with the large selection of frames. I will definitely be back and recommend Americas Best
I went in a little skeptical about a remote eye exam. It went beautifully. Even when a storm knocked out the power for a moment, they restored everything to right where we were interrupted.
Deciding on frames is tough. There are so many choices! Kelsey helped me find what I needed, AND she gave me a discount!
I can't wait for them to arrive!
Nice and clean. Very professional personnel working there. The wait time was a bit long but overall 'm very happy with America's best contacts and eye glasses. Plus a large selection of frames.
Everyone in the building is friendly. I had a great and fast eye exam visit, Toni and Abby got me in and right out. I would recommend going to America’sBest in Huber heights. There was a few other people I talked to there that were nice.
