tldr;
Brittney definitely made my experience with America's Best very smooth, fast, and easy. She is very knowledgable with all types of information including insurance, glassess/contacts, tests etc..... She is very wonderful! Hoping to get her to help me again next year!
This is either my 2nd or 3rd time going to America's Best. My previous visit was not as good as this one. With my previous visit, I had to wait a long time to go through the check-in, check-up, and check-out process(almost 2 hours). It was understandable due to low-staff. However, Brittney made this experience so much better!
Upon arrival, I was greeted and checked-in to the waiting room for my check-up very fast. Even though it was busy with customers, Brittney made sure clients were taken care and helped out. Great at multi-tasking!
Exam process: It was great and fast! Definitely returning for next year! They answered all my questions and took well-care of me.
Upon checkout, I am very curious undecided person with many questions. Brittney gave me the best customer service and let me know of all of my options available! I had several questions with different scenarios over glasses, contacts, and insurance.
Without a doubt, in all my optometrist visits, this by far has been the absolute best experience getting glasses/contacts. Would definitely recommend!
Initial appointment went well and staff was helpful and attentive.
However at pickup, they just hand over the glasses and don’t do much else to verify the vision is good or to ensure fit. It was my kids first time getting glasses, so I wanted to be sure of the vision and needed them to make sure fit was good. I had to pressure them to test her vision again somewhat, albeit with someone not used to performing tests. They also failed to provide a plan of correction for the kids prescription, so now I have to go back to a follow up appointment to verify the prescription because they didn’t do it during glasses handoff.
Overall not pleased with the service and will not use them again.
Update 10/15/24: They have yet to contact me to resolve this issue or make better apart from their initial digging questions email.
Still disappointed.
Update 10/17/24: Still no reply from my email to their corporate office. Changed my review from 2 to 1 stars because false promises of investigating dissatisfaction by the corporate office to save face aren’t cool.
Update 10/18/24: They called to learn about the scenario and ask what they could do to make it better. I explained the process for handing off glasses to new glasses wearers, especially kids, was extremely poor. They listened and said they understood and asked to confirm my review would stay at 1 star. That was certainly felt like corporate greed to be focused on the stars and not the issue with process. Upgraded back to 2 stars because at least they called to follow up.
TLDR
Overall it seems they are short staffed, albeit friendly staff, and have a poor process for helping new glasses wearers, especially children.
It was time for me to update my prescription and glasses. So, I decided to give America's Best a try because of their good reviews and low cost options. I mostly need my glasses for computer work and general reading. So , I was not looking to spend a ton of money or deal with my insurance.
I am very pleased with my decision to go with AB. The service I received was top notch from start to finish. The facility was clean, close to home, and everyone who helped me was friendly and knowledgeable. Their customer service was outstanding and it's greatly appreciated.
Though I originally went in for the low cost promotion, I bumped it up to the mid tier because I really liked the frame selection. All in, I spent around $230 for two pairs of single vision glasses with the anti-glare option. That's very reasonable considering I didn't use my insurance and the quality of the glasses and service was fantastic.
I picked up my glasses this past Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, which is right on time with what was promised. While the first pair had a perfect fit right out of the gate, the second pair required adjustment. The ladies helping me made sure I got the right fit before they would let me leave. That's what I call service.
Needless to say. My first experience with America's Best was superb, and I will be coming back again in the future.
Needed new glasses so I got the eye exam deal. Exams were fast and easy. Within 2 min after exams, Heather assisted me in picking out glasses. She gave honest feed back on what looked the best for me out of hundreds of frames. She never rushed me and also helped me on pricing. Heather was amazing! Also funny and bubbly personality was a bonus.
More like Americas worst! They are not organized! A lot of details that I am not wasting my time on in this review, they've already wasted enough of that!
Staff was great! Nice clean facility. Great selection of glasses to fit any taste with affordable prices and awesome discounts. Let’s start off with the lady that booked my appointment over the phone. I can’t remember her name. I do know she was a black woman. Kudos to you! Without you I wouldn’t have booked. You provided a very warm and welcoming introduction to America’s Best along with information about services provided. My Exam was done quickly but was not rushed at all. The doctor was very knowledgeable and nice. Heather was the icing on the cake!! She was super friendly and patient with me, for I was very indecisive. She informed me about all the discount and services provided by American best. I'm now a forever customer!! They have all officially won me over!
Had such a great first time experience! Dr Easter was great and efficient. Mierra was so kind to me and my sister and gave 10/10 service. Will always come back and recommend them!
This is my 2nd year coming to America’s Best. while I was in the waiting room, I recognized a voice of the person who helped me last year. The Doctor was thorough with my evaluation and explained the images and results in a way that was easy to understand. Heather called my name and I was very happy to see she was the familiar voice. Like last year, Heather was very patient, helpful and awesome!
