Best WLM Reviews
Making an appointment was so easy! Everyone is super friendly and polite. I didn’t feel rushed. Their hours are perfect. They are very professional and my Dr was super nice and explained everything to me. There was absolutely no pressure. I will be going here all the time and now taking my children here also. Thank you for an amazing experience. Oh and the price is so reasonable because I have no insurance and I could absolutely afford it. I have bifocals and I wanted to get contacts bc it’s easier with my job and they are perfect. No complaints here.
I never leave bad reviews, but today I just have to. The only reason this isn't getting 1 star is because the doctor and tech in the back were both really friendly and overall great. However, the professionalism of (almost) all the ladies up front is a complete joke. No greeting and barely any acknowledgement while checking in because they were too involved in their own group conversation. While waiting to check out, there was only me and 1 other customer in the building. Only 2 ladies up front were actually working, one helping the one other customer, and one cleaning. Meanwhile, my patient review file sat in the little bin for an actual 30 min while I watched the ladies at the front desk continue their loud personal group conversation and another lady at one of the little check out desks playing on her phone the whole time before I decided to finally speak up and ask for assistance. The cherry on top was there was no apology, nothing but some eye rolls and even a little attitude as I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing them.
The sad thing is I've been coming to this America's Best for years, mainly because of the great membership deals and the always friendly doctors and techs. The service up front has never been great, maybe once or twice it was, but I just can't come back after today. I'm going to let my membership expire and will not be returning. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome in a place of business. So long America's Best.
I had a terrible experience with this location. I had an appointment today and when l checked in, they tried to verify my insurance online. I was told that they were unable to verify my benefits, so I told the lady that did my check in that I would try to call into the insurance to see if they could verify my benefits. They were able to verify my benefits over the phone and they gave me authorization #'s for 2 pairs of glasses. I came back to the front desk to give them the info and she then told me that they could not see me anymore because the doctor was backed up. It took me about 10 minutes to get the info and if he was already running behind, I don't see how it would have impacted his schedule. Needless to say, I scheduled an appointment with a completely different company. I hope that you all will work on your customer service for future customers.
There is a good reason why Consumer Reports rates this company as the lowest on their list of reviewed eye glass companies. My family will never buy glasses here again. Never...
Ms. Brandy and Ms. Cassie were absolutely great. They were knowledgeable, professional and also were migraine prepared & empathetic.
I would much rather leave a great review than ever a bad one. I’m sorry to say, I won’t purchase there or refer anyone. The doctor tried hard to push me into two different Rx, after I explained I had bifocals but never needed them & couldn’t see with them. I simply needed a single lens for the computer. He pushed & spoke over me but finally gave in. Then the sales person PUSHES me to go find more expensive frames because my insurance covers so much. How about if I choose what frames I like & NOT how much they cost?! I really had to push back. I love my own frames & asked if I could just have the lens replaced. Yes. But she fails to mention until my debit card is running that “Oh, if they break your frames while putting in the lens then sorry, then thats not their fault”. Yes, I removed my card! She sells me on the $25 warranty that covers everything but lost glasses. THEN when I go to pick them up today, I overheard another customer who had an issue with her glasses that the warranty is only good ONCE. What else are we not being told? Unreal!
I have been going to America’s Best for many years and have been to a few different locations for appointments. But this location is the worst location I have been to. The women that work in the front have attitudes, are rude, and are just not helpful at all.
They do not call when your orders or prescriptions are ready for pick up. I have never had anyone call to say that my stuff is ready to be picked up. I have ALWAYS had to call in and end up getting the run around. It is ridiculous.
The doctor I saw was good, however he had told me that he was going to write my contact prescription so I could pick it up along with my pair of trial lenses, but he didn’t do that. I do not have any contacts left other than the ones that are currently in my eyes. I had to wait 2 weeks to pick up my contact prescription so I can order my contacts. I went on December 29 to pick up contacts and prescription and was informed that I couldn’t get my prescription yet and was told to wait a week. I went on January 8 to pick up my prescription again and was told that I never called in to say that my contacts worked even though I was never told I had to do this. I was then told that I would have to wait another 48 hours to let the eye dr approve my prescription. I called on Wednesday to see if my prescription was ready for pickup and was told that the dr hadn’t even looked at it. I said that I was told 48 hours and the woman on the phone said, “well some are ready in 48 hours, but we really don’t know when they will be ready, but we will call when it is ready.”
No one has called me regarding my prescription so today, January 12, I called to check on my prescription once again. I told the woman on the phone I have been waiting to receive this prescription and she asked if I was waiting on trial contacts when I clearly said I am waiting on my contact prescription. She then says “oh you just need the paper copy, well come on in and pick it up” like it was no big deal. I asked her again if the paper copy was ready for pick up and she said yes. Trying to pick up my prescription has been a real pain in the butt, and I am so disappointed in this location and with the people who work here. I have also reached out to corporate regarding this as well.
Waste of my time. The appointment was through a video call which looked like a call center with an agent that put on a lab coat. Get through the whole session just for them to have to reschedule my appointment for when a doctor is in, which is a whole week from today. I’m all for new technology, but only if it makes sense. This was a waste of time and I didn’t feel that my needs were met. I recommend going to an office that has actual in person doctors.
