Very pleasant and professional. Allowed me time and space to shop and when I was ready, processed everything quickly. Glasses arrived earlier than anticipated and were perfect. Have had multiple experiences at the Waynesboro, VA location and ALL have been positive.
The employees are kind but I don't recommend this location. I paid for an exam and have been waiting on my contacts since July. Every time I speak to someone there, I'm told they will research the issue and get back to me. And of course, they never get back to me.
This is the worse customer service center I have ever encountered . They take advantage of the elderly. and The Manager is very cunning. I am a senior who brought in my RX back on July. The girl who waited on me was very new and is now their "Manager"
She convinced me into a whole package with anti scratch, Transition, ect. The total was $375. Few weeks after wearing them the nose piece broke. They fixed them because I bought the warranty. a month later the frames broke and the "Manager " tried to tell me it was MY fought and that they didn't my frames any longer. but the had 1 pair left so they fixed them.. I did not need new lenses but fir some reason they put lenses in the new frames any way and made me use up my warranty. So I was told today when I went in completely befuddled by this haze on my lenses. the first lady said yes it looks like the lenses are worn out . how long have you had them. I Saud I just got them in July.. The Manager looked at them and once again said this is my fault. they are scratched.. I wish I could taje a pic of them. THRY ARE NOT SCRATCHED there is are film on them!! Anyway bottle line shecsaudi need to.pay ANOTHER $350 to replace them???? I am on a fixed income.. This is such a scam o had these glasses 6 months and they want me to pat another 350??? Please help if any suggestions
While Caroline and another lady with short black hair and glasses are very sweet and helpful, the others there had me crying from frustration. My glasses didn’t fit right upon arrival but I was advised to try them for the weekend since it could just be the adjustment from changing glasses. They were still mot working for me so I scheduled a follow up. The doctor man interrupted me repeatedly when I tried to explain my issue and dismissed me to the front saying the ladies up there would help me. A young girl met with me to “check out”. I told her I wasn’t done and nothing had been fixed or even attempted. She looked at them a second and said “I can’t do anything. Let’s get you checked out.” I started crying out of frustration and FINALLY got help from Caroline and the black haired lady who believe they found the issue and are sending the glasses back out. I am baffled by how the doctor and younger girl just dismissed my concerns and were itching to send me out without any solutions. This was after waiting almost 2 hours past my appointment time. We will see what can be done, but I am tempted to give up and see about getting a refund for the glasses.
I came in last month to see the eye doctor. I am an Armed Forces veteran who desperately needed Eyewear as it had been years since I had seen an eye doctor. Let me tell you how impressed I was with the staff and their awesome service. Such great prices and I liked the eye doctor. For the first time in almost 20 years, I can see! Thank you so much for helping me and your kindness to me. I highly recommend this business and I will be using these kind people in the future, if needed❤️❤️
I really enjoyed working with the staff members - they were all friendly and polite. The reason I'm giving a poor review is because of the wait time. When I went for my exam I was in the office for around 3 hours because of them being short staffed. Supposedly customers were told when they came that it would be a long wait and had the option of going to another location. I did not get this message until I was several hours into the process and overheard a staff member telling someone else. I was not seen by an in-person doctor, rather it was someone on a screen. I don't doubt the quality of the exam but I do still appreciate an in-person visit.
My eyeglasses came quickly, but when I went to pick them up it was another long wait. Once I finally got to the counter, I was helped by a lady who spent a lot of time trying to get my glasses to fit the way I wanted. I appreciate her effort, but when it wasn't going well, she eventually called for her colleague who had them adjusted within a minute or two. The first lady had helped me another time before this, and again she was very polite and kind but seemed inefficient with her work.
I really like the people at America's Best but I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
Came in today for my son eye check up and the all the staff was so friendly but the lady who checked us out is so lovely i didnt get a chance to ask her name but she was wearing a green cardigan today????????????
My first appointment was spent in the waiting room for three hours.
After I received my prescription, I immediately noticed it was not correct, but was told to give it a few days to let my eyes adjust. My eyes never adjusted to the glasses, and the contacts dried my eyes out terribly. I made a follow up appointment, but they couldn’t get me in for another MONTH.
During my follow up appointment, the optometrist wasn’t very friendly and his exact words were, “Your prescription is too complicated for contact use.” He also told me my frames were too big, yet they were purchased from America’s Best. He said someone would call me, and no one ever called me.
So, I’m out several hundred dollars and I still can’t see properly.
I paid for the three year plan, but most definitely will not be using it.
