I purchase a Pair of SHAQ glasses. After having them a few months, the left arm came out of place, and the glasses started to rust. The way the manufacture made the glasses, there is a defect. I went back, and I ask them to exchange them for a different brand. They wouldn't, so I ended up with the same frame but new ones, a year later the same issue occurred, and now they won't help me out at all, because the store manager changed her story and told the customer service agent that they replace the glasses twice, which was a lie. I will not recommend Americas Best to anyone. The manager lacks politeness. I will take my and my family business elsewhere. AMERICA'S BEST gets three thumbs down from me.
I don't recommend this place and here is why. The staff need training on being nice people. When you go in, it's like you're bothering them, like it's a chore for them to do their jobs. Not only that, they constantly talk to each other about non-job related things while you're stuck waiting. On the other hand, the doctors are absolutely amazing, so nice, professional, and informative. It's sad because the front desk people ruin the whole experience while the doctors are so so much better and nice to you.
Also, the whole 2 pairs of glasses for ~80 bucks is a complete scam. If you do this deal, you're getting Dollarstore worth of glasses with no coating, poor quality frames that break in a few months and they are just ugly. You're way better off going to Costco optical because you get a way better deal with a superb warranty. Seriously, I recommend another place, you get better service and better pricing for good quality glasses.
My sons appointment was at 2:20pm. He wasn’t called back until after 3pm and that was only after I said something. There was nobody here when we got her either. This is the second bad experience I had with them. I will not be coming back.
Absolutely atrocious customer service, I’ve worked in customer service and tried to be very empathetic with her situation but she screamed and hung up on me multiple times. Wouldn’t give me MY prescription in general! Don’t come here!
I wish I could leave zero stars. Customer service is very poor. Was eleven minutes late for our appointment and was told we would have to reschedule. I understand being on time for an appointment but not having flexibility to service a long time customer is poor. The staff at the front is not friendly or warm in any way, just robotic. The receptionist seemed to get joy out of telling people that they had to reschedule, being that she was also telling someone else at the counter that they were late for a reevaluation, but the other lady at the counter told her to just allow them to come in because they were already there. Long story short, I'm sure you can find a better eye doctor in the area.
I used to like this place. When I started there they went above and beyond to help. Now it’s all about the money. I was told contact lens scripts last 2 years now all of a sudden it’s 1 year and you need to spend more money on another exam.
So we got to the appointment and the lady who speaks Spanish informs us that because I don't speak Spanish fluently they can't help my fiance because he only speaks Spanish. Despite her being able to speak Spanish she says that we have to have a translator because they won't let her go back with him to translate. Why would you have someone that speaks Spanish on your staff if they're not allowed to help Spanish speaking people. This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. We'll go back to the last place we went for glasses. They actually allow their spanish-speaking staff to help their patients. This place was closer and less expensive. I'd rather pay a little more for good service.
This place is anti-professional they called me the same day to cancel my appointment the person who calls try to speak Spanish. But it was bad Spanish I couldn't understand I told her I understood English.! Because her spanish was so bad I felt humiliated because even though I have an accent I understand English very well.! The person was so rude worse place.!
