Jessica and Tiffany took amazing care of us. They were patient, made us feel welcome, and walked us through new glasses.
I know this is a low budget business.. and I’m still quite disappointed in my experience. Here were my problems that I hope nobody else has
1) the eye doctor rushed me through the process of choosing contacts. His reason was “I have other patients”. Choosing the contacts I wear every day is not something anyone should be rushed through.
2) My follow up appointments (that I needed because the contacts I was rushed to choose didn’t fit) were bad. First, the person at the desk simply didn’t schedule the appointment we discussed over the phone. So I had to call again to find out there was no appointment. Then, when I arrived for my 10:15 appointment at 10:15, I did not see the doctor until 11:30. Very frustrating when offices over schedule and don’t respect my time.
There were other inconveniences, but none that aren’t understandable. That said, I recommend going ANYWHERE else. This is not a customer-friendly business, and you can feel it every step of the way.
Jessica. If you are reading this please let me express how I sincerely appreciate the time, empathy and professionalism I was lucky enough to experience from you at your America's Best.
If anyone out there is looking for a thorough checkup, eye glasses or contacts you should really come to this place.
I am very picky when it comes to people and places with whom I need services from in order to basically survive. Like with vision and eyewear.
I saw plenty of families while I was there. All looking for glasses which were all incredibly well priced. Inflation has not rotted out the soul of America's Best.
Plenty of great styles and options for those with high prescriptions like myself. We're all the same and special at the same time, but we all need to express our own unique edge to our personalities and this place offers plenty of options to do just that.
I have been to other America's Best locations in the past and although they were all good, this one has remained in my memory as a place of importance to keep coming back to. Kinda like a hair stylist that makes you look good, you know? Super important.
With a great optometrist that actually feels like he has a passion for his craft, professional techs who don't seem too bossy (I hate those jerkasauruses) and a great administration and staff that take the time to call ahead to anticipate the best experience to tailor to your specific health and economic needs. You can't go wrong.
Save yourself some time and give this place a shot first. You won't regret it. I promise. Heck, I even think a Karen would appreciate this place.
I visited the Mopac location recently for an eye exam and to purchase new glasses. Dr Lopez is so pleasant and was thorough in making sure all of my questions were answered. The staff is welcoming, cheerful, friendly, and helpful. Jessica in particular was amazing! She is very customer service oriented and has such a positive energy about her. In the short time that I was there, I could see that she is a very hard worker and it was evident that she takes a lot of pride in her work. I couldn’t have had a better experience here!
I had ordered glasses online through Americas Best, and unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience. However, I have always had a great experience when ordering in store, so I went in on Thursday and was helped by Lisa the Assistant Manager.
Lisa, I can't thank you enough for contacting the online ordering division for me and dealing with the exchange. You went above and beyond, and it should certainly not go unnoticed! Thank you so much!!! And thank you for selling me two new pairs, too! :)
Jessica is awesome. She has gone above and beyond. I really appreciate that she has taken the time to help me get my glasses perfect. I feel like a pain in the butt that I've had to go back several times but she has been right there to help me each time.

Locations in TX and FL and the customer service is always great, doctors on point and choice of glasses economical. I signed up for their savings program and it’s a great service!
I had such a great experience at the South Austin location. Dr. Lopez and Eva made me feel welcomed and heard, and I got exactly what I needed. The entire process was timely and quite entertaining. I highly recommend the MoPac expressway location!
