If you're looking for the McDonald's of eye care, look no further. My insurance changed and we had to switch to America's Best and it has been nothing but trouble. My 4 year old's preschool class could manage to be more professional. I'll never go back.
My son's appointment was at noon and we arrived at 11:45. I had an MRI up the road at 2, plenty of time, right? NOPE! Left AMB at 1:45 (2hrs after arriving) to make my appointment and came back, 2:45, to finish his.
Been back at AMB for 45min and STILL WAITING.
This is just ridiculous.
I had my first appointment back after about three years today. I believe his name was Travis, at the front desk who checked me in. He was very Pleasant and had a big smile the whole time. Debra is who helped me pick out my new frames and she was the first person to do that for me. Last time I came I didn’t have anyone help me decide. Debra was very patient with me and extremely helpful. I really enjoyed & appreciated her help. Both employees made me feel very grateful I chose americas best as my eye doctor!
My appointment was at 1:10. I got there around 12:30. I was in and out before my actual appointment time! They were so nice and I love the glasses I picked. They were very thorough with what to expect, and I can't wait for my glasses to come in! They were all super friendly and I was impressed.
Travis was my customer service Representative. He was very, very helpful and kind. I explained to him that I had came into the establishment about 2-3 weeks ago and had a bad experience. He apologized that I experienced what I did and explained their normal practices concerning my issue. He was helpful in assisting me in getting my insurance information. Customer service these days is so lacking, so to have someone so kind and patient and professional. I pray that he is paid well and that he will have a prosperous life. His personality will take him far but he should also be compensated for his dedication to the company that employs him as well as to the customers that he encounter.
Travis Edwards was very helpful and courteous as he helped me with my contact order. He was personable and knowledgeable in his delivery. He is an asset to this very fast, hectic world. It was refreshing to have a young man such as him be polite, accommodating and not rush me out the door. Kudos to this employee.
Great experience! I paid less than $200.00 out of pocket for 2 pairs of glasses for a loved one.
The exam was fairly quick. The delivery time was approximately 2 weeks. Everything worked out well.
This is the best prescription I've received in years. The staff is friendly and patient. It took 45 minutes for them to work out my insurance eligibility and they never appeared frustrated. Their willingness to persevere saved me $400. I cannot say enough good things.
