Best WLM Reviews
I had a really good experience at America's Best Contacts and Glasses in Grapevine, thanks to the exceptional service from General Manager Nicole Brown. She went above and beyond to help me select the perfect contacts, displaying both expertise and patience. Nicole was super sweet and genuine, making me feel truly valued as a customer.
What truly set my experience apart was Nicole's extraordinary assistance when I had an unexpected last-minute vacation planned. My new contacts hadn't arrived yet, and she graciously povided me with extra samples to ensure I had what I needed for my trip. Her willingness to accommodate my situation and her genuine care for her customers' needs were truly impressive. I highly recommend this location to anyone in need of contacts or glasses!
The storefront itself is actually pretty good. Everything is nice and neat, including the bathroom. They had a wide variety of glasses, and other eye products. My problem, was with the time it took to simply have a regular eye check-up. I ended up waiting about an hour and thirty minutes for a thing that took about ten minutes because of the poor communication between the staff and the doctor. However about a week later, I came in again to get "fitted" for contacts and the service was better. If that one day wasn't so bad I definitely wouldn't have rated it so low, because the staff was actually quite nice and helpful. I would hesitate to go here again though.
I had a fantastic experience at this location! Nevaeh was incredibly helpful in finding the best price for my contacts. They offer the best deals when purchasing a year supply. I usually get my contacts at target, but I'll be coming back here from now on. Highly recommend this place!
Nevaeh was such a major help today. Her mama didn’t name her heaven backwards if she wasn’t an angel! Walked in to see what America’s Best was all about and was immediately approached and greeted by a young woman and I let her know I’m in need of glasses and right away was directed to the woman’s glasses and we got to chatting and she began to tell me how the process works and even without an appointment I was able to try on glasses and she helped me pick out 2pairs and was able to take pictures and save them. I’m all set for my appointment and upon my appointment I will be asking for Nevaeh she is awesome and is a great face for the company
Ordered two pair of glasses 11 days ago. When I went to pick them up one out of the two arrived. The wrong glasses were given to me they were women's demo frames. I only received one pair of the correct glasses at this time. The other pair is MIA waiting for an email.
I had a great experience at Americas best today! Nevaeh helped me with picking out frames that fit me the best and help me pick out lenses that were best for me but also fit my budget I love coming to this location every time staff is always so welcoming
I had an appointment at America's Best (1217 W State Hwy 114 #106, Grapevine, TX 76051) on Saturday. Upon arrival, I walked into the office where the staff appeared to be gathered around the manager's phone at a desk. Neaveh approached me and asked if we had an appointment. I confirmed that Kendra and Tyler did indeed have an appointment. She then directed us to have a seat in the waiting area. Tyler was provided with a tablet to complete his forms, while I had previously filled out my form online.
Shortly after, Tyler was called back by a technician. Following his consultation with the technician, the doctor called him in. Meanwhile, I remained seated, waiting to be called. After the doctor finished with Tyler, she instructed him to wait and said someone would call him shortly. I continued waiting for my turn. As the doctor was leaving with her belongings, I approached the front counter to confirm my check-in status. Neaveh indicated that she was unaware of my appointment. I reiterated our names and pointed out that I had already stated my name upon arrival. I expressed that this miscommunication could have been avoided if Neaveh had greeted us properly at her desk rather than approaching from a distance to ask for information.
I requested to speak with the manager, who promptly apologized for the inconvenience. I emphasized that this experience was disruptive, especially considering that the office operates until 5 pm, yet the doctor allegedly does not see patients after 4:30 pm. This discrepancy troubled me since my appointment was scheduled for 4:20 pm, and the doctor left around 4:37 pm. This timing caused significant inconvenience as I had taken time off work specifically for this appointment, resulting in wasted time.
