Frames are falling apart. Lens do not fit in frame properly. A very poor pair of glasses for $200. Associate at the front desk is no help at all. These are pictures of them. If this is America's best I hate to see mediocre or worst pair.
I got two pairs. One frame was wide and didn’t fit. I came in to have them tight. I’ve come there before for the same reason and no one has done what this woman did. The woman broke my frame and said they were already messed up and loose. That the wide happens when you put them on your head and I don’t do that. They were not broken because I was using them that day, I take care of my things and my glasses were not broken! Dishonesty, something I dislike. I had to pay $30, obviously I need them but she could have said look I broke them and taken accountability but no. Plain dishonesty.
2nd time here, but today all the techs were awesome! Great service, clear and exceptional communication. Nice selection of eyewear. Plus they took my insurance so prices were superb today! Only 4 stars til I receive my glasses but wanted to shout out this location today!!!
My name is Angel Martinez. I had scheduled a vision appointment for my grandmother in-law at one of your locations. I was running a few minutes late, called to let the store know I'm running late. We got to the location 10 min past our scheduled appointment time. Literally pulled in at 2:50, but due to her being elderly she uses a walker to walk so we didn't enter the building till 2:53. The worker at the front told us she couldn't be seen because we were a few min passed the 10 min grace period. It took her 3 minutes just to get in the building. It was extremely rude and unprofessional. I called to make them aware and was still refused service.
I like this location. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasnt crowded (perfect for me). The staff was kind, efficient and clean (i was able to watch them sanitize).
My favorite part was after my first exam the doctor swept the waiting room. San antonio seems to practice sweeping peoples feet when cleaning but the doctor kept a respectful distance from where i was seated in the waiting area.
Ive had light, pleasant conversations throughout each part of haveing an exam and pickingout the frames.
This is only my 2nd time scheduling an eye exam by myself, everyone was able to answer my questions. Helping me to leave to leave cheerful and excited for my new glasses.
Dr. Emerson is amazing. The support staff are civil but sound hurried and talk as they are simply using a standard script without really connecting with the customer
They fixed my glasses ???????????? i had bent them. Fast and helpful girls thankk youuuu!! 12/19/2024!
I wanted to take some time to post because I feel that the majority of post we read are almost always negative, but in this case I wanted to share about what an AWESOME experience we had at Americas Best. We walked in shortly after they opened and apparently they were short staffed, however that didn't stop them from doing an amazing job especially a lady named Monica. She was literally doing 5 things at once from asking how she could help us,did others have appointment, doing the actual exams, attending to people who were just there to pick up their glasses etc... I highly recommend going there for your needs. We will definitely keep going back. Great job to all the other staff that were there aswell.
