Delicious food! I’ve tried quite a few different items from the menu and it’s all been great. The salsa with the chips is the best I’ve had in Tucson. Oscar was our server and was super quick to seat us and take our orders.
This was our first visit to Amelia's Mexican Kitchen for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Indoor and outdoor seating was available. The inside seating was tight.
Chips and salsas arrived immediately. The chips appeared fresh. The food had a good flavor and was a good value for the price.
The food was served warm, not hot. Then, we noticed that we had no cutlery to eat with. All of the servers were occupied elsewhere. It was a few minutes before flatware arrived so we could begin to eat our entrees.
Overall, it was an okay experience.
The menu had a lot of breakfast items. Perhaps a breakfast meal would be worth trying. We also noticed that the burritos served at other tables were quite large. That, too, piqued our interest.
Our first visit. It was a beautiful evening to dine out on the patio… so why not dine out on a patio of a strip mall next to a construction site on Grant Road? Well, their patio actually provided a warm, mellow and charming atmosphere and most of the tables were occupied — a good sign.
She ordered her favorite, a chili relleno, while I feasted on a large Christmas chimi stuffed with chicken habanero. All very tasty. Kind, competent and attentive service — Arnold, our server’s name, thumbs up.
My lady and I quite enjoyed the evening and concluded “we’ll be back.”
We had an amazing dining experience, thanks in large part to Rodrigo's excellent service. The food and service are superb! We love that it's open early in the morning. We also recommend their Chilaquiles divorciados and homemade Horchata.
Martha provided outstanding service during our meal. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her warm personality made our dining experience enjoyable and seamless. Highly recommend Martha for a fantastic experience!
I had the Beef and chicken taquitos. They were delicious. It came with rice and beans, guacamole and sour cream.
Eva was the friendliest server, she was accommodating and very helpful and knowledgeable of all the items on the menu.
We will definitely be back!!
I really liked the atmosphere and the various lunch choices. I think the quesabirria was not as flavorful. The Jamaica was really good! The parking situation is rough right now due to construction.
Stopped by on a Tuesday to grab dinner by myself. The tables inside were all taken, but there was plenty of seating at the bar counter. There were also tables outside, but it was a bit too hot for me.
I decided to get a mix of tacos (quesobirria, fish, and carne asada) and a horchata (refills provided). The restaurant provided some chips and salsa while I looked over the menu. Everything tasted great and I was super full when I left. The quesobirria taco came with a spicy pepper -- a warning for those who fall into the mild spice camp. It surprised me and I couldn't finish it. For Tuesday, there is a discount on the standard tacos, but not the fish taco or the quesobirria taco. Prices were still reasonable and service was good.
