Couldn’t be happier with my experience at Amelia’s. The ambience is beautiful, the service was great, and the food was simply amazing. The photos online of the ambience does not do it justice. It’s clearly been upgraded. Went there for my birthday, and so glad I did. The calamari, crab cake, and rigatoni are excellent. The restaurant is huge, but was packed and for good reason. Looking forward to going back.
Just had an engagement party for my daughter here at Amelia’s and I have to say it was the absolute best! Everyone was raving about how nice the restaurant was and loved the food! The staff were all amazing Kai was wonderful in helping us plan our event. We all had an amazing time! Thank you to Amelia’s for a beautiful memorable day!
Went for my birthday for the first time and we had a great experience! It’s rare to find GREAT quality food these days when eating out. We recently came back from Italy so our standards have been raised, and the food here didn’t disappoint! High quality food and our waitress was really nice and made us laugh a few times. They seem to care about their guests. Also incredible fresh bread and butter was served at the table and delicious appetizers. I had the sea scallops for my meal. Yum!
First time at Amelia's in Stoughton and was surprised as to how big and nice the place is. I went on a Sat evening and it was pretty packed. Our server was very nice. We ordered drinks and dinner. The drinks were good and the serve a hefty glass of red wine! Calamari for appetizers was very good. Only disappointment was all our dinners. For some reason everyone in the table said their dish was lacking a little flavor and we all had to sprinkle some salt. I ordered the crab cake with a side of risotto and both were in the bland side for me. Besides that the place is nice. I may return with my family.
I liked the place, but the vibe was a little unclear. The dress code asked for attire that is both polished and suited to the fine dining restaurant; no excessively revealing clothing, clothing emitting marijuana odor, sweatpants, and clothing with offensive language or graphics.
People were dressed in yoga pants, sweats, nice business casual outfits, outfits with behinds almost out, really formal beautiful outfits, etc. Why have a dress code?
The food was okay, but they did not have entrees on the menu for vegetarians, which was disappointing. Most places now have one vegetarian/meat free option. I asked the chef if there was anything off the menu for vegetarians; the answer was no. I had to just combine sides for my meal. It was good, just not what I look for in a restaurant.
Overall, I would return for a meat lover's special day, but not stress about the dress code, and I would be prepared to eat sides only. It won't be a restaurant that I choose.
Went here for my one year anniversary with my girlfriend and the food was amazing. They ended up giving us our dessert on the house. I will definitely be going back for other special occasions!
Came here for my birthday dinner last night 9/22. The food was delicious (Lobster Mac, and the Cavatappi w/ Italian sausage in Creamy Tomato Sauce). Partner was confused as to why he reserved and mentioned it was my birthday, he thought they were going to do something special..but the food was tasty. The waitress was nice. The bread came out pretty late, (right before our dinner). We both had pretty tasty salads (Baby Arugula & the Caprese). The drink selection was ok. There were no sweet wines, and not many mixed drinks that were my fave, but I enjoyed what I ordered (Mango Illusion and the Justin Cabernet). *Before paying, I was asked whose Birthday it was, after hearing other tables be sang to all night… I told them it was mine. And they suggested a treat and came back with a lit candle on the side of it… The Oreo Truffles. Basically like a little cake pop. You get three of them.. and over all I’d come back for the food, to try some new items. But I wouldn’t bother making a reservation if it’s not required.
If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Amelia’s Restaurant is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance captivates you with its warm, welcoming atmosphere that's both stylish and diverse—perfect for any occasion. The food is absolutely exceptional. The portions are generous, ensuring you’ll leave fully satisfied, and the steak? Simply phenomenal—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. Every bite was a delight!
The drinks are just as impressive, complementing the meal perfectly, and the overall quality of the dishes speaks to the care and expertise behind each plate. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the service. Our waiter was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful in guiding us through the menu, making our experience even more enjoyable.
Every penny spent here is worth it. Amelia’s offers incredible food, fantastic service, and a vibe that makes it stand out. Highly recommend!
