Best WLM Reviews

We were traveling and stopped by Ameer’s Mediterranean Grill, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the chicken and beef platter, and the portions were generous. The platter came with flavorful falafel, creamy hummus, and a fresh fattoush salad that was perfectly seasoned. Their hot mint tea was a great touch to finish off the meal. Everything tasted authentic and delicious. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great Mediterranean food and big servings!
That was a fantastic surprise. The food was delicious and authentic, and the owner, Mohammad, was friendly and welcoming. The chicken shawarma and chicken kebab were excellent. Highly recommended!
This place is always so consistently fresh and delicious. The value for money is great bc they give you quite a good portion.
- Lamb shank was well done and well seasoned but it was not freshly cooked.
- kebab was very hard.
- shawarma chicken was tender and tasty.
- shawarma beef and lamb was very hard and tasteless.
- falafel was top, fresh and seasoned well.
- hummus was excellent too.
- fattush salad was very fresh and very tasty.
- Arabic rice was tasty.
- pita bread was fresh, soft and tasty.
- staff were helpfull and nice.
& double menu make it confusing when to order.
The quantity and quality has plummeted faster than a ship anchor dropped into the ocean. I used to regularly order from this place since 2022. Last week’s order of a platter was a disgrace. Over-roasted and over-burnt kababs in less than half the quantity of what used to be delivered. Accompanying Hummus also reduced in half. And those famous fluffy Pitas replaced with store-bought stuff delivered in the original manufacturer packaging! What happened??
I dined in because I don’t like to do takeout. The food was very good but the place, inside and out, was so dirty I could hardly enjoy my meal. There was trash underneath the tables outside and the salt and pepper shakers on my table inside were greasy. Even my table inside seemed only half clean and I didn’t want to touch anything I didn’t have to. Clearly, the manager doesn’t respect his customers enough to have a clean environment for them.
Clean shop serving authentic Mediterranean food.
I found the baba ganoush, grape leaves, and fatoush salad to be a bit in the sour side.
The falafels, were crispy and not too dry. Hummus seemed a bit under seasoned but texture was good, the pita bread was soft and easy to tear/fill. Fried eggplant salad was good.
We also got the lamb shank, the best hands down. You get a huge chunk of tender, fall apart lamb on the bone with a generous serving of seasoned rice, and side of some salad and hummus.
The lamb must have been cooked with lots of time and/or care, it was delicious, juicy, not too gamey and filling without feeling heavy.
5 Star Review EDIT:
This place used to be the best in town anywhere around and the past couple of months it’s lost crazy quality control on their food. Things are saltier certain things feel uncooked, sandwiches not assembled right, soggy.
Yes, I’m sure if you get a plate of meat and rice and hummus it will be fine but for some of the more complex assembled dishes, it’s just not happening here anymore. Plus, I just don’t think it’s comfortable or clean to eat inside anymore.
