Best WLM Reviews
I believe this location has new management because my entire food and service were very poorly. I called ahead to placed my food order as I always done in the past but this upon arriving I waited for almost 10 minutes before getting my food. Normally, my food is ready and hot. This time my food was not hot : the grill salmon and fried trout both came with 2 sides each. I had to asks for silverware but he never gave me silverware. I gave the okras back because they were really cold. Also. I asks the young guy may I speak to his manager. He replied he’s cooking the food. It took another 5 minutes for the hot okras. I asks again may I speak to the manager but the young guy said, he’s busy. After leaving the restaurant I checked the okras and noticed Ameen restaurant had refried the okras I giving back to the guy and I still did not have silverware. I called the restaurant. The young guy answered the phone who took my food order and the same guy who gave me my food order at the drive thru. I told him to asks the manager to call me back and if he does not I will write a review and I will dispute my charge with my bank. The manager has not called me back.
The younger male at the front was nice and accommodating. The hush puppies were great ,but the fish was terrible! I got whiting and they were thin and the fish was chewy around the edges and smelled fishy. The older lady needs to stop digging in her teeth,it's UNSANITARY!
Food was very good. The whole family of five liked their food...that is an accomplishment. The fries were very tasty. The fish can all be grilled also...most small places will only serve fried. Good portion sizes also.
Got three 10pc wings n fries,,,,lord help.they looked like they was cooked four hours earlier and then put in microwave
The fries was the same. I will never eat here again.this place should be reported……And to think the city of Mableton is supposed to on the rise,,not with serving food like this……
The food is good. But everytime I order over the phone and the younger guy answers the phone he almost always gets my order wrong. I was too exhausted to even correct him this time. But it will be my last time visiting this location. Just double, triple and quadruple check your order because the young kid that works there isn’t the brightest.
Catfish salad & redbeans and rice were 10/10. Sweet tea was just ok 7/10, normally the sweet tea taste like Georgia Southern Tea. I'll ask for a peach tea next time. However, I deleted my previous review because they redeemed themselves. Older lady was in the kitchen but the younger cook was assisting as well. My food was fresh, catfish hot, salad fixing were crunchy and red beans/rice are always flavorful and tasty. Thank you I hadn't eaten all day!!!
Only thing, I would suggest is to wait until all the customers are gone to start cleaning, seems like we were being hinted not to dine in, but myself and another customer were still waiting on our food. The time was about 9:45. It's more professional to give out the orders first then start cleaning, just a suggestion. But definitely try the catfish salad & red beans and rice, so yummy!!! ????
Food here is always on point! Service is exceptionally great and the cook time is always improving regardless of the "late rush"
This is my second time ordering from Ameen. The food is definitely good and well seasoned and taste fresh!! I am throughly impressed and satisfied. I got two meals because I couldn’t decide what I wanted. A good problem to have
