I'm scared of most Doctor's offices, and today, I was very impressed. The ladies at the front, the Doctor, the nurses, they were all so competent, and quick, and amazing at customer service. I felt cared for. Shout out to DK for being the first nurse/phlebotomist (besides at my own workplace ????) to impress ????
The staff is really friendly and accommodating, it would be nice if they had another PA there, so you wouldn’t have to wait 2.5 hours from the time you get there until you leave. Then I had to wait another 15 minutes just to get a shot, wasn’t real happy about wait times! Other than that, everything else was okay!
I was seen promptly. It ended up that i had a kidney stone. They did all the tests to eliminate other problems. They answered all my questions. Plus, I was from out of town so they helped me figure out what i would need to do if the pain got worse. They were very helpful. I would recommend this place for your urgent care needs.
i absolutely would not ever go here again. i came in very close to closing and asked my boyfriend to go in and see if they were still taking patients and they said they would take me as their last patient. the staff at the front desk were extremely rude and had terrible customer service. the doctor who saw me was incredibly unprofessional and did not consider anything i told her, and actually went against all of my requests for my treatment. i understand being tired at the end of a long day, but they could have simply not seen me as a patient. i was constantly spoken over and met with a short fuse from almost every employee there. needless to say, i am still in severe pain and the bare minimum of my medical needs were barely met. shame on you! know your limits when taking on patients. i should not receive such poor treatment because you pushed yourself too far. i would’ve gladly turned the other cheek and gone somewhere else had they simply said i was too late.
edit to add: i ended up being hospitalized for an ovarian cyst, but they refused to acknowledge the pain in my lower abdomen. once again, i’m sure there’s great people here and it may have just been the end of a bad day, but cmon people!
Every time I come here I have to wait forever. 2 hours just for a Covid and strep test, and they made me stay and wait afterwards for the results. Couldn’t give a phone call or something, you already took up so much of my time. On top of this, some guy walked up in front of me out of nowhere and mentioned that “you guys know him” to which he received immediate assistance. He wrote something on the back of his sign in paper. Weird place, terrible service and they won’t get you fixed, just away
AMC has always been my go to Urgent Care! The providers are amazing and always listen to my concerns! Allison at the front desk is quick, kind, and is always willing to help anyway that she can!
The staff and provider was super friendly and helpful. I was able to be seen in a timely manner and with proper care. I would highly recommend seeing a provider at AMC Urgent Care for any care you may need!
All because three lady at the front counter just trying to make things difficult. Because being sick is not enough to be seen by a doctor. I would also like to point out that this lady thought it was a good time to bring up my review when I brought my daughter here a month later. Basically arguing that I'm not allowed to take a photo. I explained to her that it's completely un professional to do this when I was here for my daughter. needless to say I will never come back to this place again for anyone or anything because of this lady
