I love this movie theater. Large oversized chairs that recline. Plenty of room to sit comfortably. Even room for a beverage and snack. Parking is easy and there was no line for movie snacks. Made our experience watching IF even better!
The first visit my daughter and I had at this theatre wasn't too bad, minus the movie was WAY too loud and it took WAY too long to get out hot food which was just some fries. But with reclining chairs, we chose to come back. The 2nd visit has made us change our mind, at least at this location. We arrived 40mins early because my Daughter likes to take a photos of the posters and wanted to play a few arcade games. It wasn't busy so we did that first.
But 6 of the games were broken and not working. Wasting money on a card to only to be available to play a couple claw games and 1 side of space raiders. So then we go to order at the concession area. We hadn't had dinner yet so we ordered hot dogs, chicken strips, curly fries, a large popcorn and 2 large drinks, candy, and plush toy. And told the cashier that I wanted to get the combos to save some money. He then told me "NO if I enter them individually it will be cheaper or about the same" I said umm ok then he tells me it was almost $115. I almost said nevermind because I was in shock of how could it be so expensive, but couldn't as my Daughter has ASD, and she wouldn't and doesn't understand those kinds of things. I kindly asked for a receipt. We were given our popcorn and drink cups. The hot food took extremely long as there wasn't a line or anyone ahead of us. It wasn't ready until the the previews were almost over. We sit down and then realized we were missing our fries. But can't go to let them know as the movie had started. AGAIN the movie was way too loud, and not the theatres fault but the movie definitely wasn't what the previews made you think. Because of the movie and the fact that multiple babies were crying during the movie, my Daughter was covering her head and making me hold her close the entire movie. By the time it was over she just wanted to leave, so we lost out on getting the fries. Then get home and I go to scan the receipt as I always do with my receipts, only to notice I was charged for extra items that we didn't order nor did we receive the extra items. Very disappointed, the ONLY good is the reclining seats, but everything else we felt disappointed and robbed.
LOVE THIS MOVIE THEATER! Very wheelchair accessible, tons of handicap seating. Great price on Tuesdays. Def become a rewards member, getting $5 rewards visit!
I come here often. The establishment is consistently well looked after. Restrooms are cleaned often. My only complaint is the cost of drinks and food. Either way, if you're an avid movie watcher, consider the A List membership. It comes in handy. Not all movies get screen time at this location and some movies are only available for a very limited amount of time.
We've seen several movies here and have been very happy with our experiences. We pre-order the popcorn and sodas. We get to pick our seats and sit in the reclining chairs. Love it.
First time here for a movie. 200pm on a Wednesday and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Popcorn and soda and off to a great seat. Theater wa clean and sound system was great. The staff was really nice. We were greeted with smiles at the ticket and concessions counter. Nice to see that the staff seem ro actually like what they are doing.
AMC Lakewood has been our family's go-to movie theater for years. The staff is always friendly, they offer decent deals, and the location is convenient. But what truly sets this place apart and keeps us coming back are those fantastic reclining chairs!
Being able to adjust your seat to the perfect position for maximum comfort is an absolute game-changer. And they've never given us any trouble when we've brought in a small blanket or pillow to enhance the coziness. It's all about getting comfortable and enjoying the movie!
Recently, I took my mom and some family members to see "Longlegs" at AMC Lakewood, and we had a blast. I even bought everyone a commemorative cup to save on refills for future visits because we'll definitely be back!
So, if you're looking for a theater where you can truly relax and immerse yourself in the movie experience, AMC Lakewood is the place to be. Get comfortable, grab some popcorn and snacks, and enjoy the show!
First I want to say the service was wonderful, both the ticket booth and the concessions stand person were wonderful. That was about all I can say was good. The popcorn was stale and gross, the whole place seemed run down, and the reclining seats made a horrible screeching noise when you tried to recline. The screen was pretty small, and not great quality. Really the only reason that I came was for the ghostbusters popcorn bucket. I wanted to buy candy but at 6 dollars per candy, that was unreasonable. I do like that tickets are only 10 bucks before a certain time. Not many places have matinee prices any more. Over all I would not recommend, but I gave two stars for service being so good.
