I had the chance to watch Gladiator 2 at AMC Times Square, and I was thoroughly impressed. For a sequel, it exceeded expectations, delivering a story that was engaging from beginning to end. The film managed to capture the essence of its predecessor while adding fresh elements that made it stand out on its own.
The pacing was excellent, keeping me entertained throughout without a dull moment. Denzel Washington’s performance added immense depth to the movie, bringing gravitas and charisma to his role. It was a great cinematic experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for an action-packed and captivating story.
Friday is MOVIE DAY ???? for my wife and I. We usually plan to see three movies and for the last two months it's worked perfectly. We love this theater.

We went to the theater, and there were plenty of seats. I went with my relatives, and we enjoyed the popcorn and soda. The screen was much bigger and louder, which made the movie very immersive. I highly recommend it. The crowd was not too large; it was almost empty, which is understandable since it was a Sunday. It was my first experience, as I come from Canada.I watched Beetlejuice 2, and the movie was entertaining.
My visit to AMC 25 in New York City was a great experience for catching a movie in the heart of Times Square. The location is perfect, surrounded by the bright lights and energy of the city. The theater itself is massive, with multiple floors and plenty of screens, offering a wide variety of films to choose from.
What I really appreciated was the comfortable seating. The reclining chairs were spacious and perfect for relaxing while watching a movie, making it feel more like a premium experience. Despite the busy location, the theater was clean, and the staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring everything ran smoothly.
The concessions had a good selection of snacks and drinks, including the usual popcorn, candy, and some more substantial food options. The self-service kiosks made getting tickets quick and easy, even during busy times.
One thing to note is that it can get crowded, especially on weekends, given its prime location. However, if you book your tickets in advance, it’s easy to secure a good seat and enjoy the movie in comfort.
Overall, AMC 25 is a solid choice if you’re looking for a convenient and comfortable theater experience in the middle of NYC’s bustling Times Square. I’d definitely go back for another movie night!
The place is to big, if your movie is in auditorium 19-25 you have to go up 3 big flights of escalators. Other than that the theater was fine, but for AMC’S “PRIME” it was no different than Dolby cinema? I’ve only watched 1 movie in dolby cinema at a different theater but I couldn’t find one difference between “PRIME” and Dolby cinema. Actually I’m wrong, there is a difference between “PRIME” and Dolby cinema, the difference is that “PRIME” is a little bit worst than Dolby cinema. Prime is the most useless format to exist.
I would highly consider visiting the regal right across the street!
Showtime advertised on screen subtitles and there were no subtitles for the movie (trailers had them). After the movie I told an employee about the matter and they redirected me to 2 rude, inappropriately dressed “managers”. They implied I was lying since no one else complained about the matter and said they couldn’t compensate me with anything. As a loyal amc customer, I am extremely disappointed with how distasteful the exchange was. From the beginning they were both rude and the male manager even rolled his eyes at me.

This AMC is in desperate need of renovation. The seats and arm rests are deeply worn in. They’re stained and ripped up. The arm rests are the same and some are broken. The cup holders don’t even fit the cups they’re using now properly. It feels like the cups may fall out if you’re not careful. The seats are not recliners but your classic lean back type seats. They’re all broken in so you can’t sit up if you want to.
The screens are kinda small but vibrant. I do appreciate the amount of screens they have at this location. As it gives them more flexibility to show non mainstream films. It’s a foreign film paradise in that regard.
I also like the concessions at this theater as it has a free style coke machine and self dispensing butter.
