Best WLM Reviews

Friday is MOVIE DAY ???? for my wife and I. We usually plan to see three movies and for the last two months it's worked perfectly. We love this theater.
Big Shout Out to Carlos. Exceptional Customer Service.
4 1/2 Stars..
Nice theatres. Clean and tidy. Went up 6 floors for the movie. There are about 50 screens. Price was costly as it was a new release. Watched “Salaar” movie. Sound and video quality was good but it was only about 100 seats. I recommend.
I’ve been coming here ever since it first opened in 2000 - it’s one of my favorite cinemas in NYC. I love how the entrance is through a historic repurposed Broadway theater. This is a huge multiplex with 25 screens, but some of these screens are too damn small - so small that it’s not even worth it. But the premium screens are amazing (IMAX & Dolby) - and there are plenty of other large screens that are excellent too. The seating in all of the auditoriums is stadium style - so it’s better than most of the older theaters in town. I like to get tickets as a member on the AMC app, where my benefits apply to all AMC theaters.
I recently purchased tickets with e-movie-cash. Upon doing so I researched and verified that AMC Empire 25 was participating and would honor my tickets. When I arrived, I was informed by the staff and management that they wouldn't accept them as they didn't know how to validate them. Personally, I found this to be a lackluster excuse. I explained the situation and several time the staff walked away from me to help another audience member mid conversation. I cannot express to you how disrespectful that is. These actions cement their lack of customer service skills and patience for patrons. While I understand that not everyone at the theater may know about this offer, I was offended that their final word on the topic was we won't help please leave if you aren't purchasing a ticket. Despite my protest I could see this was a losing battle.
As fate would have it the Regal Cinema right across the street was participating in this event as well. I spoke with a staff member who was unfamiliar with the offer but spoke with his manager. This time management accepted my tickets. A special thanks to both of them as they saved the day and it shows they truly value their customers and worked to resolve this issue.
Buyer beware. If AMC refuses or can't validate their own offers, I would recommend skipping them completely as their neighbors are far more friendly and willing to assist.
There is plenty of space in the theatre, and the chairs are plush and comfortable. I only wish the Imax seating had more leg room.
I came here on a date late on a Sunday. As we were walking up to our seats we seen two ???????? running down the steps. Not to mention the floors were disgusting and the seats were even more disgusting. This is 42nd st so tbh the facility should be upgraded instead we get dirty torn up old seating that’s looks infected with bed bugs. We definitely requested a refund and will never come back so I recommend walking past this place I wouldn’t give this place a whole star more like half.
The AMC Empire 25 is a 25-screen movie theater located in the heart of Times Square in New York City. It is one of the most popular theaters in the city, and is known for its large screens, comfortable seats, and state-of-the-art sound system.
The theater has a variety of showtimes to choose from, and offers a variety of ticket prices. There are also discounts available for students, seniors, and members of the military.
The AMC Empire 25 is a great place to see a movie, especially if you are looking for a big-screen experience. The theater is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
AMC Empire 25 is a great place to see a movie. It has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
If you are looking for an even more luxurious movie-going experience, you can consider getting an AMC A-List membership. This membership gives you unlimited access to movies at any AMC theater, including the AMC Empire 25. It also includes discounts on food and drinks, and early access to tickets.
The AMC A-List membership costs $25 per month, but it can save you money if you go to the movies regularly. If you are a frequent moviegoer, I would definitely recommend getting an AMC A-List membership.
I went to AMC Empire 25 on 42nd street in Times Square to watch Shrek 2, for nostalgia, on 04/14/2024 at 5 pm. I paid for my ticket and they spotted me with an ounce of liquid juice left (from a 12-ounce cup) that I had not finished from outside AMC. They brought three people, including the manager Brenda and two security guards to escort me out, saying they did not want my business if I bring outside drink. Are we living in a dictatorship by this corporation? Are they crazy? Does AMC want their customers to feel like criminals? This reminds me of the time they called the police on two black men in Chipotle because they did not order food but sat down at Chipotle.
They eventually called the police and kicked me out. This is unacceptable. They have nothing better to do than to police if you have some liquid and then call the cops? AMC doesn't even have a phone number or email to contact to make a complaint to corporate. AMC is a dying business and it's been long unprofitable, even after charging 20 dollars for a drink and snack.
Their business model is flawed and it's not going to be corrected by sending over thugs to harass you not to bring any drink into the theater. I'm not going to buy from these scammers. I even got sick from their popcorn twice years ago (vomited) and will never eat popcorn from AMC.
I've added the video of the three thugs, including the AMC manager Brenda, who would not provide me the names of her 5-foot security guards.
STAY AWAY FROM AMC!
