First off, the theatre was so cold I have to question if the heat was on at all! Had I known, I would have worn my heavy wool coat or brought along a battery operated heated blanket it was so cold. The seats are way too small to be comfortable, sharing an armrest is impossible, and there is no room or place for safely storing a purse or coat. A point of consideration, folks with babies and small children; this is NOT a place AT ALL for babies! The sound system is loud enough to damage their hearing. If you are cold or freezing, your child will be cold or freezing. Keep in mind the rating of the movie.
I have been to the movies twice in Richmond in the last two weeks. The theater was comfortable, the restrooms were clean and the employees were very pleasant. Good job!!!
The only reason to ever go there is because it's the only movie theater left in Richmond Indiana. The place is become a rundown absolute POS of a spot the theater smells like pee restroom looks disgusting not clean the staff is clueless on what they are providing when you order online don't ever get what you pay for, the large drink is ridiculous eye-watering $7.50 everything is outrageously overpriced is concessions Go the movie is okay priced but not for going into a theater that is outdated and complete the nasty the sound is ear piercing and overdone for advertisement one showing louder than a jet engine. Close it down or remodel that's my final thoughts.
Definitely needs updating. It was raining outside during our movie and I could hear the rain dripping inside theater 1 the entire time in multiple directions. When the movie was over I saw a puddle about 3 seats down from me and some in the row behind me. If I walked around I probably would have found more. The ceiling had multiple leak stains. Building is definitely over due for repairs. Concession prices are also extremely high.
A/C seems to be broken, don't come here if it is hot outside. Smells like mold or urine. Also the bathrooms were completely disgusting and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls everywhere.
I was fearful of going there after reading reviews, but I have to say the only thing that was a little annoying was the bathroom I choice was out of toilet paper. I will definitely go back.
It’s really sad how the owner is letting the movies go downhill. Prices are outrageous. At least use the money to fix the place up. Sat in theater 3 today 7/4/24 and the ceiling leaked the whole movie. Notified an employee and nobody ever came to check it out. Bathrooms are always gross. Beverage area is always sticky and gross. Chairs need cleaned. Not to mention the A/C doesn’t work or something it’s always humid in there anymore.
Showed up at 11:45 pm on June 15th to people waiting outside. We stayed until 1 pm and the theater was still not open. The employees were outside waiting to work. The manager would not respond to their texts or phone calls. The employees just left, if you show up today don't waste your time standing outside ???? very disappointing.
