Great place to visit the last two weeks my friends and I have been going for Happy Hour. Valentina helped us out with service, she is great and her food and drink suggestions are on point! I’m a fan of the spicy margaritas on the menu just haven’t made up my mind between frozen or on the rocks!
Excellent customer service. They quasadillas are really good. The food comes out really quick. Now, the fajitas could use some extra seasoning, especially the ribs. The street cirn is really tasty. The drinks are really good. The atmosphere is also good. This wasn't my first visit. I will for sure be back.
It's a MUST place to visit if you like authentic Mexican food. Service is the extra degree Nicole, Lorena, Valentina and Tatiana you are the best! Thanks for an amazing night. If you like Catrinas you have to visit.
Absolutely phenomenal experience! From the hospitality to the flavor, not one bad experience. I just wish I had more space in my tummy to try dessert. ???? Lol. I had the watermelon salad and omg ! You have to try it with sirloin on top. The fried goat cheese seals the deal. But don't just take my word for it, go and try it out for yourself. Let them know you saw this review!
I moved to Houston about 5 months ago and we came to this restaurant today. Let me tell you this place is over the top delicious and the staff is even better! The doors swung open as they welcomed us in! Our waiter Alex was great at giving us the rundown of the place since it was our first time. He was on point and checked on us periodically. The street corn is a must have and the Risotto Mexicano is the best tasting dinner I have had and I’ve eaten t. Lot of places! If you have never been, I would highly recommend it!
What a treat! Ambriza’s sets the bar at a new high for the customer dining experience.
When you first arrive you are warmly greeted by one of several hosts or waitresses. Once seated an appetizer of street corn with garlic aioli was presented to us as a token of their appreciation for our first visit there. On top of that they gave each of us a shot of their award winning cucumber margarita with Tajin seasoning on the rim (I now understand why they won awards with this).
My Enchiladas Rojas was very good as was my wife’s Watermelon salad which I may try next time as it looked delish.
Cindy, our server, was gracious and accommodating and kept our orders straight as there were some dietary considerations needed for our friends.
Just as we were finishing and chatting it up, we were surprised yet again with the serving of non-alcoholic ginger shots as a refreshing and energizing send-off. A perfect complement to our meal by the house, as another expression of their appreciation.
WOW. Doesn’t get any better.

Excellent service and pleasant atmosphere. They have a lot of tables in the main dining area, I don't think I would enjoy sitting there if it were full of people, but we sat on the side area and it was pleasant. The manager brought my daughter and I complimentary Mexican street corn-it was unexpected and Delicious! The entrees were awesome!!!! We're looking forward to going back again! :)
Sidenote - I forgot to take pictures until we were halfway finished eating. The portions are generous, took home leftovers.
