52 years eating cheesesteaks and steak hoagies in pretty much every popular cheesesteak shop in and around Philly and I dare to say and have allegiance to the popular one in the northwest section of the city which I’ll leave nameless out of respect, but I just moved to Ambler and I might have just had over the course of 2 days the best steak hoagie and plain steak sauce and onions I’ve ever had. Meat seasoned and grilled perfectly with just the right amount of moisture to sup into the roll. Sauce sweet but not overly sweet and perfectly portion. The roll is the maestro here as it holds the very meaty contents well and absolutely delicious dough with a soft golden hardish shell. If I could give this place a 6th star, I would. It’s a 10 out of 10 plain steak w/sauce and onions. The steak hoagie from yesterday I would just add that the veggies were super fresh and just the right portion. I get it with a little mayo and they coated the roll exactly as wanted. Nice friendly environment. Bigger space inside than you think from the outside. I’m pretty particular, but Ambler Pizza has their hooks in me. As Arnold would say, “I’ll be back”, but I’m going to add “often”.
1st time trying this place. I don't like giving a bad review because everyone has different taste buds...Loved the dough...only negative was too much garlic.
Originally from Oreland (20 yrs ago), I met my son here for a quick lunch. I never expected such a large steak that tasted so good. I am glad I order the whole. Took it back to Maryland and had the other half at city dock in Annapolis. The counter guy was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was typical of a pizza/sub shop where capital is better spent on quality of food ????

This was my first time ordering from here! Not only was the customer service amazing, but the food was excellent! Im so excited that after 5 years of living in Montgomery county, we finally found a place that we love!
We really enjoyed our Saturday fast meal at Ambler Pizza. The food was delicious and presented quickly. The employees are friendly and personable . It’s a great casual place to eat in, pick up or order delivery.
Lived in Ambler for 30 years. Hardly the best anything in Ambler. Food is OK, not spectacular. The prices are insane. Tried to order delivery for a pizza and it was over $32. Crazy. The website is also bad. Hard to navigate and get prices without giving your life story first. No pricing for toppings, etc, until you complete your order. How about a regular menu with prices like everyone else? You can get better cheesesteaks and pizza across the street and around the block. If you want average and expensive, this place is for you.
If I could give this place more than 5 stars I most definitely would!
The owner Nick didnt even hesitate to help my family and I out so we were fed. After he heard that my family was struggling big time, he had no hesitation to take the time out of his day to help us.
The food is absolutely delicious and my family is forever grateful for nick and his hard working team!!!!????
If you want some pretty good food COME HERE! It’s fresh, and hot, and doesn’t take long at all to get it to you!
I wanted to check out a new pizza spot. I ordered fries, taco pizza & regular pie. I spent $58 on extremely over seasoned fries (all salt) The taco pizza taste like cardboard with wilted hot lettuce & warm mush tomato's. It was disgusting my toddlers eat everything. They made me make frozen ellio's pizza instead of eating it. I was tempted to call the pizza place to complain. I'll stick to glenside pizza or anywhere else.
