I love ambiance Oakley on Vandercar way. The staff and nail techs are always very friendly and welcoming . I took my 4year old daughter with me yesterday to get her first manicure with mom and she loved it . Everyone was so nice to her they made her smile and really enjoy her self . They always take good care of me when I come in as well it’s always clean, the nail techs always use new tools to do my pedicures/manicure with and make sure I am satisfied with my services before I leave. I’ve been going to this ambiance for years and I always recommend them to everyone . Definitely a 10 out of 10
I got my nails done about 2 weeks ago (SNS on my natural nails) and my pinky nail broke in half and cracked my real nail earlier today. My pointer finger chipped about a week and a half after I got them. Also, after 3 days of having these nails the gel top coat started peeling off which you can see in the pictures too. I love the color but the execution was not done well. It also took them roughly an hour and half (which is much longer than I have experienced) so I expected them to be done really well. From other nail salons that I have gone to my nails have lasted 4+ weeks with none of these issues.
It’s funny reading all the reviews after coming here because they seem to relate to my own experience. I guess I should’ve read them ahead of time. My first time there I worked with Jessica. Her energy was very aggressive, not really friendly, almost as if she didn’t like me without even knowing me. She was really aggressive with my hands, yanking my fingers, pushing my hands back aggressively when she was done with one of them. I just didn’t like her energy at all. After a few days, I noticed that my nails started to chip a bit and they weren’t all the way polished at the tip, but I kind of just brushed it off so then I came back again because she did a good job overall as far as the shape and everything so I thought I’d give it another try Which was just a few days ago last Thursday to be exact and I just got an acrylic fill in with gel polish and four days later several nails started to chip off so at that point it became a pattern so I went back today for her to re-polish my nails, and she just kept making smart comments as if it was my fault that my nails were chipped versus the quality of the products You all have. I felt like she was treating me like a child telling me to be more gentle with my hands moving forward and asked me what I was doing with my hands over the past few days as if I just scratch walls for a living or as if I purposely. I explained to her that I do that every day, basic activities with my hands that most people do that shouldn’t cause my nails to chip in four days. I just don’t like being treated like I’m a child. Then she tells me oh and by the way, I’m not accepting any new customers so you can’t come back to me after today which is fine because I didn’t want to anyway but it’s just so weird because I saw how she interacted with other customers who weren’t of my skin tone, and she seemed really bubbly And talkative being an African-American woman. I can only assume that she may be a bit racist.
I’ve been coming to Ambiance for over a year, and I can't recommend Jessica enough! Jessica takes her time, paying attention to every detail, and genuinely cares about the quality of work she provides. Her professionalism, patience, and passion for her craft shine through in every appointment. If you’re looking for a talented and dedicated nail tech, Jessica is the one!
I booked with Jessica on recommendation from someone and she did not disappoint! She did an amazing job on my nails and gave me the first manicure that I have had no complaints on! Extremely professional and very clean, as well as knowledgeable on what is best for your nails ???? Highly recommend booking with her!
This was my first time trying out a new nail salon since moving to the area. I’ve had dip on my nails for years and it normally last me 3-4 weeks. This is what my nails looked like two days after getting them done here. I went back and had them fix six of my nails only to have them look the same a couple days later. Highly disappointed.
I am very happy with the job that Cyndi did with my manicure and pedicure she always takes great care of me every time I go to the salon. Everyone there is nice and they do know who I am. I would recommend this place most definitely.
I’ve been coming to this location and seeing Jessica as my nail tech for a number of months now. She always gives me stunning SNS nails that are consistently durable and beautiful. She pays so much attention to detail and my nails are well shaped and cared for- I’ve never been able to maintain long nails until now! My manicures always last, and never chip.
