The diner is amazing let’s get that out of the way, you won’t regret eating here!!! As for truck parking and accommodations for parking IS A JOKE!!! They let any and all people park where ever. Cars park in truck parking spots, trucks park so far apart because they done have strips and obviously only think about themselves and not the truck that comes in off the road and has to deal with this shit show of a parking lot. I see exactly to why TA charges!!! There are more than 50 dropped trucks and trailers here and no room for 10 hr breakers. I HATE coming here to park but sometimes have no choice ????
Parking lot is a dump, abandoned trailers, dump trucks, cars, pickup trucks, looks like a pick and pull junk yard. More abandoned equipment than drivers parking. Manager needs to have it cleaned up and prohibit drivers to leave their equipment unattended.
I love it when we stop here. The food is great. it seems cheaper this time around, too, $29.00 for a 4 piece fried chicken. Meal + one-time salad bar pass +corn beef hash meal.
On the other hand, the place is a mess. Over by soda machine, spilled soda everywhere, brown spots that edge of the cupboards.
They have 2 big sets of restrooms and in drivers lounge 2 private restrooms , that's a plus as well, but they were filthy tonight.
Laundry facilities, 2 washers out of 3 work, coin only. It's been a few months since I've last stopped here to do laundry here, and the same washer was down. And as you can see in the photos, they do not take time to clean these machines whatsoever. While I appreciate the price ( 2 dollars wash, 1.50 dry), I'd pay more to ensure my clothing is being cleaned properly.
The shower was cleaned for the most part, with no major complaints except the shower. 6, the actual floor doesn't separate, and the curtains are not preventing a flood from happening there. As pictured, it was a pretty big mess.
There seem to be quite the few stray babies out here! Please be sure to check trailers, tires, and under your hoods before you leave or start your engines.
This place was so cool. So many old antique items on display. Food was delicious. My bf loved the liver and onions. Staff were friendly. This place was very clean and atmosphere was great.
Well, as far as the food goes it was excellent by far the best truck stop food I have had in a while they even had dessert.
Lots of cool looking old trucks, a subway, lots of snacks, and at cheap prices, more than enough truck accessories and tools, a section for nicknaks for children and friendly staff.
Now as far as the parking situation goes it's a large parking lot for parking, but what a death trap with crap trailers and trucks parked every which way but right. Yes they did have a CAT scale and it's easy to get in and out of because it's right at the end of the road.
Fun place with lots of vintage eye candy, Drea was my an excellent waitress, attending to me with a smile and professionalism.
I had the chicken fried steak breakfast and mopped every bite up with my sourdough toast.
Looking forward to visiting again.
The truck stop is good good food clean showers
Only thing I dislike is all the dump trucks and local drivers park there and throw there shit around
Truck stops aren’t made for local drivers to park there with there vehicles and take spots up then park there dump truck
I've been coming here regularly for about a year now. There's never any parking available. Most trucks that are parked are broke down or left here when drivers have home time. Not to mention people living in some trucks and RV in the back! Clean restrooms and showers. Great restaurant. The parking of none occupied trucks need to be addressed!
