Food is seasoned well and generous portions, except for the $4 very small masala chai. Service is not great, for large parties, all servers focus on that one table, not much communication from the servers, they don't check on you once they drop off food, they don't know when you've finished eating, they all need training.
This restaurant is beautifully decorated and the menu is extensive. My masala dosa was super crispy and made very well. I found the aloo and the coconut chutney to be a little bland. I would go back but I wasn't totally impressed
Amber Spice deserves all the accolades I can imagine. The food is delicious, and the menu is filled with so many desirable entrées that it's hard to choose just one. The service is great too. I look forward to returning again and again.
Fish Bombay, the best Whole Fish I’ve ever tasted for nearly past 5 years in The US. Whoever cooked this deserve a Masterchef apron and my next visit. Great job on the Ceylon Paratha and Goat Curry as well.????????????????
It's delicious with a light flare and perfect hints, mixing new and traditional dishes. I truly enjoyed everything and will return soon. The service was personable and accommodating, and the establishment was very clean.
The food and atmosphere was excellent . The server was more receptive to my partner as he was of Indian descent , that made me feel not valued . Server inquired if food and service was good to my partner but did not inquire on my thoughts so I intentionally included myself with my thoughts. I would definitely visit another time . Seasoning is great but less sodium is a plus .
This Indian Restaurant serves Southern style Indian food. There are many vegetarian dishes. However, they offer lamb, chicken, and seafood with those dishes to those who eat more than just vegetables.
We ordered tandoori chicken, salaag which has lamb with a creamy spinach and almonds. It was so deliciously seasoned with spices, but not hot or too spicy.
We ordered several types of Naan.
Each entre could be shared with 2-3 persons based on the amount of food.
We took a lot of it home to share with 2 other adults.
I am very surprised how this place has this ratings. The masala from the dosa was horrible. Had chicken tikka masala that was the worst I have ever had. And lamb curry I don’t even what words to describe it, just awful awful awful. And the gulab jamun I just had a small bite and left it. It was not good as well. I never describe a food place this way but if you want authentic Indian food this is not the place. I’m not even going to mention the customer service.
