Best WLM Reviews

The room inside has a certain style, being from the 70s/80s, you like it or not, it gives the space character.
The service was efficient and professional. The drinks, local beers and ciders, were good.
The food was good too but they had the bizarre idea to make thin-crust pizzas and serve it covered with a salad... As the pizza is hot, the salad cooks, becomes soggy and makes the pizza wet. I would rather have my salad separately. But again, it wasn't bad.
Best pizza in the area. The food is consistent and delicious. Our favorites are the veggie pizza and lobster pizza. The interior is unique and beautiful, but small which means it’s often on a wait. Their to go service is very simple and quick which makes a great alternative to dining in. Always a must stop on our summer trips to the UP.
First time here. It was recommended to us by the bartender at Keewenaw Brewing. The wait we were told was 20 min for a party of two, but ended up being 47 min. Every size party was being told 20 min which I felt was pretty inaccurate. There were a lot of groups of people canceling cause the wait was way more than they were told. When we finally got seated we placed an appetizer order and drinks and it took forever to get our drinks. The food we ordered was good. The tostada pizza was really good and the cudighi sandwich was really good too. Poor waitress was so slammed I did ask for a plate to eat the pizza on but I ended up eating it on a napkin. By the time she came back I was finished. I would come back but just be prepared for a long wait.
Got there about 5:00 today and we had to wait for a hostess to seat us. There were multiple staff members near the bar and servers that walked by. No one made eye contact or even acknowledged that someone would be with us. We were one of 3 separate parties waiting to be seated. Sandwiches were Ok. Husband had the cudighi and liked it. Never had it before so nothing to compare it to. I had the Reuben. While the flavor was ok, it seemed more like “processed” corned beef. Maybe they just slice it extremely thin, but I wouldn’t get it again or recommend it. Both sandwiches seemed to have more bread than the actual meat/cheese etc. Our waitress was really nice and efficient.
Was in the area and had heard about the Ambassador. Stopped in for a late lunch early dinner on the 24th. My wife and I each ordered a 10 inch pizza to have leftovers. Thin crust pizza cooked perfectly, and an order of the baked buffalo chicken wing. Which were amazing, not too hot and tasted great. Great wait staff, very attentive. And a great view at multiple tables. If your in the area and looking for a great place, this is it.
Out of town visitors in the area and was recommend, Ambassadors. It was a seat yourself, and the wait was hardly any. Served right away with food also prepped within 15 minutes.
The atmosphere was very lovely but also quiet providing lookouts towards the river while dining.
Pricing was very fair as well! Would definitely give recommendation if needed.
At first the hostess (with the nose rings) was not very friendly but our sweet waitress made up for it. Her name was Catherine . She was very friendly and took good care of us. We ordered everything in the photos. I had a salad which was yummy. We did not have to wait long for our table or food. Nice place to visit with good prices too. Anyway, thank you Catherine for the good service and thank you Ambassador for the good food-we will be back.
Our server, Adam, gave excellent service. We had the Lobster pizza (that is lobster & assorted fish). The pizza was very good. Drink prices/ food are very reasonable.
