The ambience of the hotel is simply unmatched. This was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle! Highly recommend this hotel!
The hotel itself was decent and the staff we encountered in person was very nice. However, we were charged for parking without disclosure or authorization. Parking was never disclosed in our booking confirmation, by the staff when we obtained a parking permit for the onsite garage, or upon checkout. We never had any reason to believe it was anything other than complimentary or included in our stay, especially since the hotel provides free parking for restaurant guests. We only became aware there was a parking fee when it showed up on our credit card statement. $40 for 2 nights! We probably would have been better off parking on the street. ||Moreover, when I called to find out what this charge was, the woman working the front desk was incredibly rude and started yelling over me. We ended up having to dispute it with our credit card company.||I don't mind paying for something if I am aware of it. However, for everything to suggest parking was complimentary and then be charged for it without knowing is so deceptive. So much that I will not stay there again, nor will I be staying at any Wyndham hotels in the future given this and how this was handled. Despicable.
We really liked the shuttle service and the service people at the front desk. They were all helpful , friendly and gave us very good service. The food was very good and having Starbuck’s attached is an added bonus. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The only complaint was the one elevator was not working, but after a day or so, it was back to running properly. Very good location and comfortable rooms and beds.
Overall, my stay at the Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, was exceptional. The combination of beautiful art deco charm, attentive service, and delightful amenities made for a truly memorable experience. The staff was consistently friendly and went out of their way to anticipate my needs. The attention to detail in both the decor and the guest experience did not go unnoticed. I can’t wait to return and make this my regular choice for future visits to Milwaukee. Thank you for making my stay so special!
This place was great. So e would say run down, but it's old, what do they expect. We went to a concert at the Rave and walked from the hotel. Location was perfect. We had dinner at the Fritz before hand and the good was excellent and the service was fantastic. Crystal was great. Will definitely be staying and hitting the Rave again in the future.
This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. All the staff is friendly and treat their customers like VIPs. The restaurant has delicious food at reasonable prices. Their hotel shuttle is staffed with friendly drivers who will take you where you need to go downtown. The lobby is art deco, and the rooms are super quiet and private. I will definitely stay here again!
What a true gem..hotel bar was great...room was spacious and a comfy bed..tv was a bit to figure out. Front desk service was amazing and the free shuttle to downtown was also exceptional with a very fun shuttle driver. Stayed there before and after the green bay game and it was just perfect. Well done guys!!
All staff is very friendly, especially the shuttle bus driver. He is the best driver and a very pleasant person. The shuttle service was super convenient. We felt very safe to walk from the hotel to the city center and back. Our room was spacious and clean. Highly recommend to stay there.
