Getting in here is easy. the difficult thing is to maintain. Many believe that this place is so easy. But being there under the requirement of a work quota in the pick sector, I would especially tell you that it is the most exploited position. You won't have your 15-minute breaks simply because the place is so big that there isn't enough time to get to your break room. They will be watching you and under a false smile they will ask you to meet the quota or you will be fired. Your back and your knees are not worth the pay of this oven. For those who have no other option, my best wishes and find something better.
Hopeless building it took 12 to 14hrs to get unloaded. Dock workers dont know both shift are super slow never ever coming back to this facility. NY FREIGHT INC SUCKS they worth even a star
Goes smoothly enough, just wait for the higher paid jobs. At Xmas they come.
Its so awesome. I love my home away from home. We just need to work on a better food menu. We need a yoga balls or Bean Bags in Stow Station. Sometimes we need to sit. While waiting .
I love my Stow Job.
They do not care about you here, they try to turn and burn as many employees as they can. The moral is extremely low in this building. It is mind numbingly easy work that you have to do for hours at a time. 11h30m days are what you can expect with only a days notice. They slap you with mandatory extra time constantly and expect you to use your own personal time to cover it if you had an appointment lined up on your day off. They treat you like a number here and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with half a brain.
Parking lot was clean yet full of cars very large they're doing some construction around the entrance but it was clean and safe I did not like all the speed bumps they had they were not friendly to your cars
My daughter just got terminated from Amazon after she was on leave due to and injury first she hurt herself in January and had to go to the hospital for sticks she informed her supervisor and her supervisor told her she needed a clearance from her doctor that she was good to work she got her note from her doctor stating that she could work but needed light duty so they sent her home again this time she needed a note from her doctor that she is 100% good to work with no accommodations she got here note from her doctor she went back to work they told her again that now she needed and email from Amazon HR or some place that belongs to Amazon that she’s good to go she sent in a copy through email and it was a certification from her doctor that she was 100% cleared spoke to someone and this person I honestly don’t thing he or she knows her job told her that she needed clearances from Washington state I don’t know what Washington’ state had to do with her injury it was not during work so their was no L&I they kept giving my daughter a hard time to go back in to work and Amazon had a tick for attendance and because she couldn’t return till all this clearance she had too much tick and Amazon terminated her and didn’t approve her leave and she didn’t know that till today 3/05/21 after she spoke to someone because she’s trying to return to work and the lady on the phone told her that today she was terminated because she had to much ticks and all my daughter was trying to do was to get back to work and they kept sending her home how is that right!????????
Great company, but they are a bit slow to resolve problems. Common sense is not always utilized here. Some managers are great, but some clearly don't know what they are doing. Lower level employees are considered expendable.
