Great food. Generous serving size. I love the collard greens, candied yams and Mac N cheese. They do a good job on the fish as well. The Oxtails and rice is also very good. I thought the turkey meatloaf was pretty OK. Not the best but not bad.
Even though the website says 12$ for a chicken platter, it came out to be 19$ which was disappointing at first but the portions were large and the Jerk chicken (3 pieces) was fall off the bone tender and well seasoned. The mac and cheese was very cheesy and the fries were crispy and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place even with the price.
This food was delicious! 10/10 recommend. I had the honey fried salmon, Mac and cheese and yams and all I can say…(I didn’t even think you could fry salmon) AMAZING TASTE! ???????????? Check this place out.
Hands down the best take out I’ve had in a LONG TIME! Every single thing my husband and I ordered was DELICIOUS!!! Everything and I mean everything was seasoned to absolute perfection. Will definitely order from here again :) a gazillion stars from us!!!
Ordered food from here for the first time, my wife and I are huge foodies and will eat anything. When I say everything we ordered was delicious, we mean it. Jerk chicken was well-seasoned, mac and cheese tasted phenomenal and would recommend this place highly for some amazing comfort food!
My mom told about this place and came home with a smorgasbord. She bought me a catfish sandwich which was delicious. She bought collard green, string beans, potato salad, macaroni and cheese. She also got oxtails for herself and everything was delicious.
Ordered catering for work party . I called fat before and they were able to accommodate me and got everything done so quickly ! Everything was fresh ! The oxtail empanadas and the bread pudding were a hit . The chicken was perfectly cooked . The prices are great and the quality is fresh . Will be ordering again
The first time was dry stewed chicken. I decided to give them another chance and got bad tasting cat fish and winggets. They were not cooked well. Soft and tasteless. I started to leave when I noticed they called the cook from the back and she was Mexican. That's not soul food. Iv had it. Cornbread's is far for travel but worth bypassing this place. I will not be fooled again.
