Went there for lunch it's a quiet take out place with a few tables. I sat there and had my lunch in the takeout box. The jerk chicken had a very nice flavor but not enough heat. The french fries were crispy and soft inside with a nice seasoning on it. The macaroni and cheese was also delicious. Best part of this was I had leftovers for later. I would recommend going to this place if you are in the neighborhood.
Sooooo Good! We ordered take out on a Friday night on Door Dash. Food was ready on time and order was accurate. We ordered baked chicken, turkey meatloaf, green beans, yellow rice, potato salad, candied yams, mac n cheese and bread pudding. Each dinner came with 2 sides. It was a great price for a large portion size. We saved half for next day. All of the food was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Staff was nice when I went to pick it up. We were so happy with our meal and will definitely be going back and have already recommended to family!
Oxtail with candy yams, and mac & cheese and barbecue salmon with mac & cheese and candied yams and of course you have to try the cornbread and potato salad. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but the food is absolutely amazing!!

THEY DID NOT COME TO PLAY!! i ordered the jerk chicken with seasoned fries and mac n cheese as my sides and as i lifted the chicken up to eat it, all the meat slid off and i was just holding the bone. acc insane it was so tender ????????
Absolutely PERFECT!! Food was on point. Everything was great.
Jerk chicken, bbq chicken plates. My eyes were so big that we got extra corn bread and an extra piece of chicken a piece. Topped it off with a ice cold Pepsi.
Mac and cheese and yams make you want to slap somebody.. Where is Will Smith when you need him..LOL

Great food and at a reasonable price!! Absolutely a "home cooked" feel to thelis place. Fried chicken really brought some comfort...all of side dishes stand on their own as well as make for a solid accompaniment for any of the stellar entrees. People behind the counter also make you feel welcome and really put the love in the food. Don't skip the uptown tea and bean pies in the case. They really complete the overall experience. This place brought back memories of the home cooked meals of my youth.
I ordered from here on DoorDash and will definitely be ordering again. Everything was delicious! I ordered the jerk chicken, Mac and cheese, rice and cornbread. The jerk chicken was fall off the bone tender and flavorful. The Mac and cheese, rice and cornbread were also fantastic. Big portions and very reasonable priced too.
I LOVE THE OXTAILS, STRING BEANS AND MAC AND CHEESE. the didn't have collard greens that day, so I was disappointed. The food is delicious and tasted home cooked!
