The best Tacos and food you'll ever eat. I mean really the food is to Die for!!! Extremely fresh and hot delicious food here!!!!. Seriously the food is sooooo. good it was hard not to just gobble it up . The staff is very nice and friendly you can see your .Food being cooked and prepared I like that!. There's our door setting and a bar but the food is sooooo damm good it's unbelievable!!! Wish I could give them 10 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ the food is sooooo good God you people don't understand how good the food is here I could eat there every day!!!!!
Can I add a sixth star for this place? The food here was amazing. This is 100% our new spot. The service was great even though we came in just before closing, everyone was super nice and they gave us a heads up even before the kitchen closed. Food, service, vibe, the whole package was top notch. And it's right next to the movies!
The food was good the service was good as well, just a little slow. The cheese dip is awesome. I was expecting the white queso (because we are from Indianapolis) but the yellow queso was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the puffy tacos they were good also, different than the traditional cilantro and onion tacos but good. The rice and beans were pretty basic.
Awesome place! It's definitely Tex-Mex with more emphasis on Texas than Mexico but the food is great and Texas sized plates for Mexican prices are still honored here. We tried quite a bit of the menu and weren't burnt in the pockets. It's located next to a cinema which is extremely convenient for Large groups or hungry people who don't want to be stuck with upscale prices for a stale bag of popcorn.
Eat here before your movie!
So, I'd not been to Amaya's Taco Village since my last visit to their north restaurant, across from Capital Plaza, in a long time. ATV South Park Meadows was busy, but managed to find a sit-down immediately upon arrival. Waiter, Fernando, was phenomenal, providing super fast service, taking order, and always made certain everything was good. He was friendly, professional, personable and eagerly attentive. His exceptional service compensated for the tortillas, my least liked menu item. Ordered the Mexican plate, which came with 1 tamale, 1 enchilada, 1 taco, rice and beans (my choice charro). Everything was so tasty except the not-so-crazy tortillas. I'm used to Casa Garcia's, best homemade tortillas in town, and difficult to champion. Overall, my dining experience was a great one, some of the best tasting Tex-Mex food in town, reasonably priced and sizable portions, to fill you up for days. Fernando, I enjoyed meeting you, and keep up your excellent work ethic. You're top notch!
I've been here multiple times so I keep coming back The service here wasn't as good as it usually is but it wasn't terrible. I will say though that the prices on everything has gotten extremely high. I really hope that's just cuz of inflation I'm not entirely sure but it honestly makes me second guess coming here The food's always good coming here most of the time I only ever usually get crispy tacos either beef or chicken I guess we'll see if I come back or not I hope I do.
The food is always delicious and the service on point. Tonight I ordered something new and it did not disappoint! Look at all that guacamole! Yum! And ask for the pralines… if they aren’t sold out, they are some of the best in town!
While driving to San Marcos to shop, we decided to try something we haven't before. If you are a cheese lover than this is the place. I thought we had too much cheese on oureals but overall the food was good. I would visit this place again.
