I can’t express enough my disappointment with this dining experience. After hearing about this restaurant, and the fabulous food, we had high expectations. We arrived about 5pm with a party of 5, including 2 children. When we walked in the vibe was great and we were told there was a 20-30 minute wait so we sat patiently in the lobby. When the hostess came to seat us it wasn’t in the restaurant at all, but an “overflow” area. At the time nobody else was there. We were literally in the hallway of this office building. No good vibes, no ambience, no good. Was it because we had 2 kids?
The food was great. I enjoyed the chicken marsala very much. The server was attentive. She apologized for where we were seated and said it would get better when more people were out there. It didn’t. I would have preferred just to take the food home had I known what was happening. It doesn’t make me excited to go back.
Our server was friendly though drinks and food took a while. I had to ask for water 3 times. The space is fun. The reservation process was easy. Our table loved the fried chicken sandwich. I wouldn't order the chicken Marsala again, it was super salty. Overall, it was good, not amazing, but I'd go back
I finally got to try this place today, and I can say everything I heard about it was true... this place was soooo good! It was an amazing dining experience. We were served our food pretty quick and checked on often. I totally loved my steak sandwich. Everything tasted very fresh and well prepared. And the donuts were mouthwatering ????
Food is really good. I had herb chicken sandwich and it was great. It was little salty but tasted fantastic. If you need less salt, you may need to tell the waiter. My wife had veggie burgers. It was really good too. Portion size is good. Their fries are good. My friend had fried chicken. He said it was really good. The restaurant was full in a Wednesday. Better to have a reservation. Have limited seats.
They gave us complementary fried donuts called ricotta donuts. It was delicious ????.
My foodie boyfriend was talking this place up for weeks. We finally went and I’m happy to say that he did not over hype it. The happy hour menu and everything we got was so, so good. Amazing chicken tenders and honey butter. Great chicken sandwich and cheeseburger. The donut bites and honey butter were superb. Can’t wait to go back.
Excellent food! The Nicoise salman salad was well prepared, the blackened ahi sliders and fondue were next level delicious. The fondue was thinner than a traditional fondue, but the wine and cheeses were perfectly balanced, and the pretzel was delicious with it. The ahi sliders were delicious and so much more interesting than the individual components. I will be ordering them again. And lastly ( and my husband's favorite part of the meal), the Ricotta donuts are soooo good. They immediately made us forget we were full before they arrived at our table, and we devoured them. The staff was as good as the meal. The person who answered the phone and seated us ( Carson?) was welcoming, professional and friendly, and the bartender that served us did a good job even when he got very busy.
It was our anniversary and they really took wonderful care of us. Mary Rose and her team were amazing and so personable. The food was excellent. We loved the fried Brussels and corn fritters. We also loved the fried chicken. We look forward to going again soon and trying all the different restaurants that are owned by the same owners.
Doubted we'd find a table, night before completely booked, arrived before 5pm and was lucky to be seated. Greeted on entry and helped immediately. Table to two near the bar. I believe they have outdoor seating on the west side but wasn't used, not sure. Server introduced herself and told us the specials. We ordered a house salad, carnitas and a chicken sandwich. Cocktails were a red sangria and a coconut cocktail I believe named the Humpty Dumpty. Both were excellent. Presentation is clearly important, lots of panache! House salad was nicely seasoned. Carnitas were a tad wet but the green chutney was very fresh, enjoyed the pickles onions. The chicken sandwich was nicely seasoned, the carmelized onions were a great garnish. Finished with the ricotta beignet, wonderful! We were asked about our experience and enjoyed sharing. Check out was smooth and farewells were shared by the staff. Will go again.
Returned, this time with a reservation. Enjoy beet salad, chaiball cocktail, cup of soup, fondue and chicken marsala. High marks on beet salad, chaiball and Marsala. Soup was chicken and dumplings, comforting, pretty good, fondue wasn't our favorite. Great service, attentive, just the right amount of check ins.
