Great food. I've had the Chicken Korma and butter Chicken Masala, coconut curry shrimp and all three were delicious and spiced perfectly for me.
The chicken appetizer is great. It makes me think of general tso's chicken done in Indian style.
I go weekly and don't plan to stop.

Went there for brunch. South Indian food was delicious and so was the filter coffee. However, within 3 minutes of arrival, two servers came to the table four times to ask for order. I think they could use with a little bit of training. Idli and masala dosa were both great.
In my two visits, I've tried out a combination of dishes, and each one was satisfying. While there isn't one standout item I can name the best, the overall experience has been consistently enjoyable. You can try any dish here. The waitstaff's recommendations and the various selection of dishes make it a reliable choice for a satisfying meal. I confidently rate it a 9 out of 10.
Amaravati is hands-down, without a doubt the best Indian food in all of Nashville! I’ve been to India many times and always struggle to find authentic food here in the states, but Amaravati is everything I’ve been looking for – truly authentic fresh Indian food!
Equally as good as the food is the service. Giri and his staff go above and beyond to accommodate us every time we come in. They treat us like family! We love it so much that we now go every single Friday without fail. And it’s where we spend every special occasion - birthdays, anniversaries, holidays – everything!

i had a great experience for dinner here, we had samosa and paneer dishes. the curries were as per the spice level requested. definitely recommended.
Great taste, was slightly crowded when we went there, on a sunday. Good taste and quantity for the price. We ordered a vegetarian paneer dish with garlic butter naan. They serve free rice which you can take away as well. They have clean washrooms as well.
The food was soooooo good! Cozy, cute little restaurant. Authentic and portion size is big! Friendly staff too, answered all my questions.
We had Indian food in 3 restuarants in Nashville . This is the best Indian food we had in Nashville. Reasonable prices , friendly staff , clean place .Service was quick too even though they were busy
