I’m going to start with the positive: people are really nice, the massage when they wash your hair is wonderful really relaxing and the place is beautiful and clean. The dark side was I asked for partial highlights they did baby mini tiny partial highlights, they are really small and thin is hard to notice the difference in the hair. I understand that for going blonde without damage the hair has to be done in sessions but I think they could achieve more with my color. I asked for covering my root because I have gray hair and they used something that did not cover my roots at all. Now I have to use a box dye at home. And the hair cut… you can see the picture :( not even close, there is not volumen in the top and the layers where not planned or structured but just cutting hair randomly in tips. The girl who did it was so nice and sweet so I felt sorry to ask for a better haircut but definitely not what I asked. I normally do my hair at home is pretty decent but in this opportunity I wanted to reward myself after a difficult time in my life. I lost my money.
Courtney Cook was so freaking awesome. The head and neck massage alone were incredible and then to get a fabulous cut afterwards was sheer heaven. Love my new stylist! She is funny and kind and great at what she does!!❤️
Love this salon! Courtney has colored and cut my hair several times in the past year and she always does a great job. Very good about making sure we’re on the same page about expectations and also easy to talk to. The staff are welcoming and the overall experience is high quality.

AN ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL REVIEW WHEN CONSIDERING A COMPANY FOR ANY COSMETIC SERVICE. THE TRUE MEASURE OF A COMPANY’S HEART AND INTEGRITY FOR THEIR CLIENTS/CRAFT IS NOT IN HOW THEY MANAGE SUCCESSFUL OUTCOMES, BUT IN HOW MUCH THEY ARE WILLING TO DO TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT WHEN THEY MESS UP.
IT DEMONSTRATES HOW THEY WILL HANDLE A SITUATION THAT COULD HAPPEN TO ANYBODY.
I was a loyal client of theirs for a multitude of services FOR YEARS. What happened to me last Thursday was everyone’s nightmare salon trip, after having my hair done here for nearly 2 years. I went in to see my regular hairstylist and left with my healthy hair over processed, damaged, broken, falling out, my entire scalp covered in chemical burns, and everything I’ve invested in my hair ruined by this stylist and company I had a well-established trust with. My hair meant so much to me, and I’ve invested thousands upon thousands of dollars into it over the past 5 years. Enough money I could’ve bought a car with, all destroyed in one sitting. After pouring my heart out to try to get them to help aid me in any measure back to where I was before this visit.(I asked for a scalp serum to repair my severely damaged scalp and aid in regrowth of the years worth of length I have to cut off, deep conditioning treatments at the time of future color services since my hair will not be able to withstand the color services the same given the severity of damage now present, and the inevitable further damage from bleach needed to get me back to the color I was. I asked for them to refund me and to fix my color back to what I had for free. I believe all that to be fair and REASONABLE seeing as I only asked for things to try and help restore my hair back to the color I had for 2 years (a color I was committed to keeping forever) and help aid its now compromised condition. My hair can never be what it was before this visit, I have no choice but to accept that which is why I only asked for things to HELP manage it along the way of growing it back out. They disregarded every. single. detail. of my email, and heartlessly said “We are sorry you’re unhappy with your hair, we’ll refund you in 3-5 business days.” I HAD GOOD RESULTS HERE UNTIL I DIDNT, JUST LIKE YOU MIGHT. It’s not that I was simply “unhappy” with my hair…this is beyond matter of opinion…my hair is ruined. If you made it this far, I sincerely hope you take your business to a company that actually values you enough to rectify mistakes THEY make. There was nothing I could’ve done to prevent this. It was entirely out of my control. I went to my usual hairstylist, for routine color appointment, and she messed up. That’s it. At Amara they couldn’t care less for you, they have made that abundantly clear. Once again, I was a client for many services for years, don’t fool yourself into thinking they’ll handle an unfortunate situation with you any better if one were to occur. The 1 star review below mine didn’t even get an acknowledgment from the company. Not even an apology for a bad experience (as of 8/20/24). Take note of that. The positive reviews are not indicative of Amara as a company, those reviewers had a positive outcome by their stylist. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. If a bad one were to occur, you’ll be met with the same lack of empathy from this company as I was.
I recently had lip filler done at Amara Day spa in Lehi by Lexie and she did an AMAZING job!! I was really nervous as I haven’t had anything like that done before end wanted to still look like me but a little volume, hydration and edge definition so my lip liner and lip color wouldn’t bleed into the wrinkles above my upper lip. My favorite make up item to use is lip color so that was something important to me. She is an artist because I told her what I wanted and thought I wanted less filler but she recommended more so I trusted her judgement and she made my lips perfect and better than I could’ve ever imagined!! Went in last week for a laser consult and Nikki Passey got me scheduled for exactly the time I could squeeze into my hectic schedule this week. Loved the staff, and Lexie did a great job making me feel at ease and not feel dumb with my million questions. Called back later to schedule my next appointment and Nikki got it all set up for me super quickly and answered a couple more questions I had. I appreciated the depth of her knowledge of what the Med spa had to offer and how to prep for my appointment and after care. Her advice was great. I’ve also heard good things about Lexie doing amazing Botox so I’m for sure going to ask about it at my next appointment.
The boutique is darling and had lots of great gift items for kids all the way to adults. Bought lots of cute things too.
